The main reason why Kaeso decided to spend time with Adam was to investigate the fact of seeing his face. However, claiming it was only because of that would be a lie. Besides learning the reason behind the anomaly in his reality, Kaeso also intended to thank Adam. The old man was the first person in many years who showed interest in how Kaeso felt and the meaning of his graffiti. Initially, he didn't know how to react to such genuine compassion. He was the first one whose whole face became visible to Kaeso.
One day Kaeso was making graffiti on one of the mall's walls, two months since the incident with the police. He could not fight the urge to express his emotions. To not feel anything, as he promised to himself, Kaeso needed to bury them in art. He planned to cover it with white paint, which he got from the mall's stuff, to vanish all signs of "vandalism" immediately after finishing the graffiti.
The end of the year was coming. Few days left before new calendars were going to appear in every household. Kaeso has never understood why people are so excited about it. He commented on their excitement by painting a man kneeling before the number 36 with a bloody handprint of his right hand next to it. Beneath the graffiti, Kaeso put a sentence: "Again, we are going to fall from the heavens."
Focused on painting, Kaeso did not notice when someone appeared behind his back. He got awakened from the artistic trans by a strong, deep, but delightful voice. It cut the silence so unexpectantly that Kaeso flinched.
"This is one of your best works. Incredible idea…"
Kaeso turned his back. It was like a scene taken out of a slasher film. Seeing someone's face was like a jump scare. He could not restrain himself from screaming. Due to the shock, he went through, his legs buckled under him.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." Confused, Adam looked down at Kaeso, wondering if he should help him to get up. "Are you alright?"
"Ye-es."
"Come on, get up. I want to hear more about it." Adam smiled.
"Su- sure." He responded automatically, still lying on the ground, with his eyes stuck on the face of the man before him.
During their conversation, Kaeso observed every change in Adam's facial appearance. Grimace, frowning, grin, every little move. All of them were extremely interesting. Kaeso's stare made the old man uncomfortable, but he acted as if he did not mind it. After some time, Adam got used to it and did pay attention to his strange behavior anymore.
After getting the answers to all of the questions regarding Kaeso's art, silence fell. He was not willing to explain the exact meaning of his work. Kaeso wanted to let the passer-byes come up with their interpretation. The only hint he gave to the old man was to focus on numerology.
"Cover it after the new year."
"Seriously? May I?" Kaeso could not hide the excitement.
"I won't grass on you. It deserves to be seen by a wider audience."
Kaeso decided to trust in his words and left it be. That day, he tried to understand his behavior. Kaeso concluded that it was caused by his being caught off-guard. He decided to ignore Adam and avoid meeting him. Why would he open up before a person who barely knows him, who used to be one of the ones chasing after him? But, Kessdo could not fight with curiosity.
I think Blurred Vision is rather interesting, i like its originality with plot and Kaeso on surface sounds very interesting and with lots of potential.
Kaeso cannot see people's faces... This makes it almost impossible to understand the emotions of people around him and their intentions... He is trying to get used to it, but it is more complicated than it may seem.
Will he find the cause of his unusual condition?
Lost in the world of new technologies and robots, a street artist tries to survive another day. Kaeso hates the modern world, which takes away what he values most. However, there is no way to escape it.
