"I firmly believe that one day Mother Nature will return to all the green once again. When her heart returns, everything will be one again. Only then will her true name be revealed to all." - The Fox.
From the time and formation of The Garden, this place had no purpose or at least every animal thought so. It wasn't until one day a woman suddenly appeared in The Garden. This place in The Garden was simply a lake that animals often flock to or admire, and it always amazes the animals. But this day, when the woman arrived, it would go on to change this place. It would be known throughout The Garden and talked about among those there that day.
“Hey, look over there.” One shouted and pointed towards the lake.
“What is that? How did it get in The Garden?” Another said.
“Huh? Is that a creature like The Boy in that photo?” Questioned another.
“Sure looks like it.” Someone answered.
“Let's get a closer look.” One suggested.
She was drifting through the water, and she appeared lifeless. The animals were shocked as they had never seen a creature like her. It left them puzzled and endlessly turning their heads from side to side. After staring at the body drifting to shore, the animals quickly took a few steps back. Occasionally others would soon touch the body.
“Hey, what does it feel like touching it?” Someone asked.
“Soft and warm.” They answered.
This was a new feeling for all of them. What now? Each animal was very skeptical and highly uncertain about whether they should investigate the body. Mainly because it appeared the woman was covered with scars and multiple opened wounds. The usual thing would be to help, but all the animals stayed. Some of them felt fearful, which they’d never felt, and decided to walk away from the scene.
The woman could be described as dark-skinned with short black hair. Her body was slightly muscular, and her chest was large. She was covered in metal plates that appeared to be a buffer of some sort. But the animals scratched and turned their heads because the woman seemed bloated from the stomach. Perhaps, this was a different species from the boy.
“What should we do?” Someone called out.
“What do you mean what should we do? We should just leave it alone.” One suggested.
“Well, that doesn’t sound right.” They said with a concern face.
"What does it matter? It’s not our business to interfere. Besides, it can survive.” One mumbled.
“That’s just wrong. And it’s not an “it” that is a girl. And she appears to be carrying a child.” One shouted.
The animals all stood after that comment. Should they help? Or should they leave this be?
“I have an idea; why don’t we get The Fox and The Rabbit?” One suggested.
Without warning, a dark cloud started materializing from the lake, and The Garden suddenly became dark. To the animal's surprise, they saw a man levitating above the water. The man was described as having dark skin, a small beard, and long black hair. His gaze was sharp with red blood eyes. The man looked around for a moment to see where he'd appeared, and then his eyes turned straight at the animals. Slow, he makes his way to the woman's body. The animals are frozen in fear, but the man looks up and smiles. The red of his eyes dissipates as he doesn't feel any hostile intent or dangers surrounding this unknown terrain. He then begins to make his way toward the wounded woman.
He picks up the woman, who is light as a feather to him. First, he carefully examines her body with his eyes to confirm her condition. Next, he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. Black smoke formulates around the man and crawls its way onto the woman. The battle scars and open wounds had begun to heal. And her buffer which was damaged and filled with scratches was restored. Then, the designs change along with the symbols from both shoulder pads. From a shape of a human head to three scratches engraved into them. Lastly, after completing his short task, he looked at her face. Another woman's face appears in front of him. Like a flash of a memory that he once knew but still sleeps. Saying to himself, " You look just like her." He lightly brushed her hair away from her face and kissed her on the forehead.
"You've truly grown, Alice."
The man then looks at the animals strangely.
He has never seen animals like this before. They had human features, but we're still animals. And to him, they appeared to have transformative abilities. Suddenly the man's heart begins to beat fast, and the plants within The Garden start to crawl toward him. At first, the animals were very much startled by this. The plants begin fastening around the man, but he feels he doesn’t need to resist for some reason. After a moment, the plants then retract from the man. They were confirming the identity of both invaders. The plants normalized, branding the man and woman with The Mark of The Boy.
The man stands there for a moment after he and the woman both receive this strange mark. He feels something in this place, this very familiar aroma. He feels a pull, then looks towards a tall tree in the middle of The Garden. His chest became heavy; his heart was attracted to an unknown being. A tear falls from his face as he hears a woman's voice.
"Let us become one and be purified with God's blood."
The man looked around frantically, trying to find where this voice was coming from. He held Alice closer to him. The woman’s voice echoed through his head and all around for all to hear. It was one of the most beautiful and elegant voices he had ever heard. His heart began to beat faster, and he could feel just about everything in this strange place he’d appeared in.
"This place, what is this place? This place feels like home, no, not home. It's a calling, yes, a calling to come home." He said to himself.
"Forgive me, whoever you are. But I can't come because I have much to do in my world. Although, I know that one day I promise to meet you. I feel destiny will allow that, and my heart seems to ache for you. And to keep that promise, I'll make a seal with you like this mark. I swear on this woman's name I'm holding."
The man walks to a tree, and with his fingers, he burns letters into it. The letters spelled "KIDM." Just then the voice calls back.
"In honor of this, I will call this place Aliceseal. Garden Gate."
Branches appear out of thin air to form a perfect circle. Leaves and other types of vegetation grow on them. Within the middle, a pure light sparks green.
“A portal?” The man whispered to himself.
He nods towards the tree. And with that said, the man and woman both leave The Garden. He slowly faded away with the leaves and wood that once was the portal.
The animals all stood in shock at what had just occurred in front of them. Everyone could not comprehend what just happened or was said, and they knew they'd made a mistake not helping the injured woman. Then, some of them remembered a teaching from The Owl to "never judge others based on how they looked."
After that day, Aliceseal is considered one of the most glamorous and grand cities within The Garden and is mainly known for the great Lake of Seal. A promise was made between The Garden and the man; this lake stretches for miles and carries The Tree of Life water from The Eternal Spring throughout The Garden.
Endless Green. It's a popular term used by animals to describe a vegetation-filled place. The period could also be referred to as another name for Aliceseal. It's the only place in The Garden with various plants, and the specific species in Aliceseal are among the millions.
One could also describe Aliceseal as a paradise or utopia. Granted, The Garden is that, but to some, they feel it's yet another upgrade. As if there is a hidden secret place within. This is because you can find rarer things here, such as food, clothing, minerals, and much more. And the shops are bigger. The older animals seem to be very much interested in that. And the animals are just as lively as anywhere else. Aliceseal is not just a place of fun and a dreamland. To the animals, they feel you must visit it at least once in your one hundred years. It serves as a memorial landmark to them, as well as the day they had heard The Garden speak.
When the animals heard the voice after the man and woman left, they immediately went to their elders: the Fox and The Rabbit. But upon arrival, only The Fox remained, and the Rabbit had moved to another part of The Garden some eras ago. The animals were unaware of this; some thought it was due to their mentor's passing. Only The Fox knew the truth, and they dared not to ask as it didn't involve them.
When The Fox heard of this, he mentioned that he had felt the presence of both the man and woman. He told them he didn't intervene as he knew it wasn't a threat. The animals were awed by this. But perhaps what amazed them more was The Fox proposed an idea. A day of remembrance. He later called it Eden's Day. With his small-time of sorrow due to his friend The Rabbit leaving. He wrote the anthem song called Eden's Lullaby.
"The Garden, a peaceful place, where we could be friends, welcome to Eden, welcome to Eden.
Can you feel the Light in the air?
It will steal you away. Let it be your guide, and then you'll find The Garden near the tide.
We'll welcome you with open arms.
And The Garden will shelter you from harm.
Welcome to Eden, welcome to Eden,
Welcome to The Garden."
So every twenty-three eras, they celebrate the day they heard the voice.
This would be sung for generations to come. And Eden's Day officially was added to their calendar...
After all the animals left, The Fox walked up to the tall tree.
“The Garden, no Mother Nature. Although, no one knows that you truly reside here and that you are truly somewhat alive besides Rabbit and me. You continue to protect us all. You’ve always had, but I never in my hundred years of living thought you had the most beautiful voice in my hundred years of living. I pray once your heart returns so I can hear and call you by your true name before I pass from this world.”
It seems like it's been so long since everything happened. The Fox had thought to himself.
“Father, Mother sent me to tell you that dinner is almost ready.”
“I'm coming, my dear son,” said The Fox.
The End.
