Glad you are here. Writing Bruno's monologue was especially fun. A man who sort of knows what he wants, or at least, what role he does not want.
Ebba's character was inspired by the movie " Big Eden". It had a relentless match maker who tried to set up the main character with a nice woman, and when she found out he was gay, tried to set him up with a nice man. It was a sweet (but embarrassing) sequence and 23 years later, still rattling around in my head.

On a personal note, the book burners and bigots are going full throttle in Florida and Missouri and Texas and Tennessee and other red states, each trying to be worse than the next.
