(Gamer's Pov)
I sat on my bed, staring out the window, just looking at all the stars in the sky.
We ran down the dimmed ally-ways of streets and buildings, the continuing fireworks lightening our path for a few seconds at a time as we ran, our laughter faintly echoing throughout the streets.
I smiled to myself.
If only we could live like that everyday..... that would be pure happiness and paradise.
A little knock warned through the door before it slowly opened, Death silently slipping into the room "...hey" he smiled a little as I smiled back "Hi".
Since that night, the opening night of the festival, the two of us had just been all smiles, laughter and slight awkwardness. Both too giddy and happy. Seeming like total blind idiots. And the excuse we were using the entire time was just excitement about the festival.
"Couldn't sleep?" I slightly questioned as Death shrugged his shoulders "Like I actually slept whilst in this realm" the ripper answered- I mean, yeah, he had the bags under his eyes to prove he hadn't exactly been sleeping and I get it, sleeping in new places... especially in the realm where you were nearly killed in last time, is kind of hard. "First thing you do when we get back to Rieannie, you're having a decent night's sleep" I stated as Death laughed a little "Yeah, I'm looking forward to it" he smiled "Why are you still up?" he asked as I got up off of the bed "Thoughts... happy thoughts" I answered, laughing a little to myself as the ripper laughed a bit too "How can 'happy thoughts' keep you awake?" "They're distracting and makes you all giddy and excited" I told him, earning another quietened laugh from the ripper.
We're all supposed to be leaving and heading back to the Mid Realm tomorrow morning so yeah, of course we're trying to be quiet, everyone else is asleep.
"The past week.... would've been the happiest I've ever felt whilst in Heaven" I stated as Death folded his arms "Really?" "Yeah- because this time, I have all you guys with me... especially you" I said as the ripper in front of me blushed a little "...I make Heaven better?" he hesitantly questioned as I laughed a little, nodding my head "Of course you do" I told him, playfully punching his arm as he laughed a little too.
His laugh and smile, absolutely real and meaningful. The calmness and joy drawn across his face and voice. Something people rarely get to see from him, but I've seen it so many times- it's something that always makes me happy to see and never fails to make me smile.
A boy, tall and mostly bone turned towards me.
My body stiffened as my eyes glowed, all completely goldening white. Death's face turned worried as he tried to speak to me yet his voice was muffled... I couldn't hear him.
The boy stood alone in the brightening light. His red-dyed brown hair swaying in the calming breeze as he stood dressed in white, blues and golds. His sky blue eyes glimmering in the light and his stardust skin shimmering like glittery stone gems.
"Gamer- please, stop this" slight words echoed into my ears yet were completely drowned out. I couldn't speak nor move. Couldn't hear nor see.
"Son of a starry moon and burning sun...." his voice gently spoke.
And through my blurred vision, I watched Death run out of the room, leaving me.
(Angel's Pov)
I stood by the window, frame opened to allow the cool night's breeze flow into the room whilst I stared out into the city. A small knock on the door quietly echoed through the room before the door itself creeped open a bit, the window's glass showing Akire's reflection by the door. The witchdoctor stepped into the room, closing the door behind herself "...you alright?" she asked as I continued to stare out the window, giving her a slight hum as an answer "But you can't sleep?" "....I'm worried" I stated as Akire made her way across the room and once by my side, leaned against the wall by the window, arms folding. "I told you not to go looking into that girl-" "I couldn't help it, okay?" I slightly snapped at her before covering the upper part of my face "Sorry" I apologised "....that night, at the opening of the festival... I accidentally did that realm-phasing thing and found myself in a Grey Army base" I told her, seeing Akire's harsh eyes immediately turning to worry. I lowered my hand from my face "Lev's there, he showed me where to go and... the Grey Leader was angry and... there was this black mist thing" I tried to describe to Akire as she listened "It... it told him to find Dawn and kill her for some spell" I said as the two of us finally dared to look at the other. "So... everything you did-" "I did it to protect Dawn" I confirmed what she was thinking before sighing myself "...if someone could've warned you or stop your death years ago, would you want them to help?" I questioned, Akire turned her head away from me, re-folding her arms "My situation was much different than yours-" "But you get my point" I said as she closed her eyes "Yeah... I do".
"Why'd you do that-" "Because I saw death!" Akire spat back at me "What do you mean-" "That girl is surrounded by death or- she'll be surrounded by death at some point in her life" Akire told me, harsh honesty in her eyes and voice. "Besides... us seers always stop when we see any sign of death upon someone's life" she reminded me as she picked up her bag, glaring at the ground "Let's head back to Rieannie" "What about-" "Just drop it Angel!" she snapped again. "We're heading back into Receinte and taking the first train back to Rieannie... no more 'truth seeking' of a girl you shouldn't know exists" Akire told me...
I watched her face closely, seeing different mixtures of emotions pooling around her expressions "Akire, I did listen to you about your warning of Dawn, but you really need to trust me on this" I said, standing up and placing a hand on her shoulder "But now, I have to ignore it in order to keep her protected and safe" I told her yet Akire harshly shrugged my hand off of her shoulder. "I warned you of the death around that girl, Angel..." Akire reminded me before starting to step away "Just because you're some 'immortal goddess' now, doesn't mean that death will not follow" the witchdoctor warned before walking out of the room.
(Death's Pov)
I rushed back through the door, Seraphina and Michael following me into the room, as I immediately rushed back over to Gamer's side yet immediately, he spoke "There will come a child of both light and death" he stated, voice cold, slightly distorted and echo-y "Whose hair is of setting sun, eyes of clear blue skies and skin as pale as stardust" the fallen described, and as I glanced back at both Seraphina and Michael, I saw the absolute fear and worry plaguing their faces. "This child will fix what has been broken and torn, reigniting the burning light and re-enforcing a strong link to keep promised vows" Gamer stated before the glow in his eyes dimmed and faded, returning his normal sky blue eyes, I caught him just before he hit the ground. "Game...?" my voice, gentle and quiet, as I held him in my arms "Shadow...." Gamer mumbled as my brows frowned in more worry and concern "Need Day.... break....." he continued, words not sounding as though his own "Sunset Star......" he passed out after the last muttering of words "Death" I turned my head back to the other two, being met now with a cold face filled with seriousness from Seraphina.
I carefully picked Gamer up and laid him on his bed, turning around before Seraphina grabbed me and Michael by the arm and dragged us back out into the hallway "Sera-" "The Divine's Vision" she harshly yet quietly cut me off, what she just said throwing me off a little as I raised a brow "The what-" "A vision the 'Light Spirit' has of the next spirit to take their place" Michael quietly stated "Every Light Spirit gets it before their... expected death" he explained as my eyes widened. "The fuck?!" I harshly spat, keeping my voice down as to not wake anyone up "No one can know that Gamer had a vision of the next Light Spirit, got it?" Seraphina harshly stated "How do we know he's not the killer?" I questioned, nodding to Michael as the archangel glared back at me "...I loved the last Light-" "It's true- mom said that when Aurea died, Michael's crying looked worse than a baby zombie with rabies" Seraphina stated as the archangel stared at her in slight shock, clearly not knowing until now that Seraphina's mother even said such thing about him. "No telling anyone about this" the lysdon angel firmly stated again as me and Michael silently agreed.
The other two soon started back down the corridor, heading towards their rooms as I turned my head back to the door of Gamer's "Death...?" Michael's voice quietly called after me as I looked back to him. He thought for a moment before nodding his head back to the fallen's room "Stay and keep an eye on him" he told me, I gave him a small nod as he turned on his heel and continued back down the corridor. I quietly stepped back into the room, closing the door behind myself before walking over to the bed, seeing Gamer's face consumed with peaceful slumber after passing out only a few minutes ago. I kneeled down, sitting down beside the bed, lifting and reaching a hand over the matress and carefully holding the fallen's hand in my own as I looked up at him "I'm not gonna let anything happen to you" I quietly stated, almost seeming as though I was just mouthing the words "...I promise".

(No One's Pov)
Death threw his bag into the storage compartment beneath the bus where everyone else's crap had been dumped in as the horrid sound of bored, excited and saddened teenagers rung out from inside the bus.
Ianthe was taking all the students back to the Mid Realm today.
And instead of a few-rounds trip of multiple vehicles leaving Heaven at different times, the woman had organised to pick up all the students and leave Heaven with them all together.
The earlier they leave, the less time it should take to get back to the school.
The last stop had been the Lights family House in Lyrkos to get the last of the students; Angel, Akire, Gamer, Dark, Anti, Skyler, Death, Seraphina, Leo and Mangle.
Death took one final glance back at the Lights House before making his way to the door of the bus, immediately being stopped by the archangel, Michael. "What-" "Look after him" the archangel told the ripper in a calm voice, throwing Death off a little as he somewhat looked up at the archangel "....please" Michael asked, barely keeping the worry and fear from crawling onto his face as he looked back at the ripper "Yeah... I will" Death assured him before getting on the bus, taking the first empty seat in the front.
Gamer put the last of his things in the bus before walking over and meeting Michael by the door of the vehicle "I guess this is 'goodbye', again" the fallen hesitantly stated as the archangel nodded his head. Gamer's eyes fell to the ground, brows drawn "...I'm really not safe anywhere, I am?" he quietly questioned "No matter what- there are people who want me dead-" "The only place you're safe is by that ripper's side" Michael stated, cutting off the fallen, the boy's eyes re-meeting the archangel's. "He loves you, Starlight, I can see that" Michael smiled a little as he looked back down at the fallen "And he has a really good heart.... but the question is; can you trust him with yours?" he questioned as Gamer bit his tongue. "... I don't-" "Take your time" Michael told him, placing a gentle hand on the fallen's shoulder whilst giving him a meaningful smile "You'll work things out eventually" the archangel assured him before giving the fallen a goodbye hug, then let him pass onto the bus. Gamer thought for a moment before hesitantly making his way down the bus aisle and sitting down beside Death "You mind?" Gamer questioned as the ripper smiled brightly and shook his head "Not at all" he answered, as the bus's door closed with Ianthe retaking her place in the driver's seat.
Slowly, one by one, the buildings of Lykros disappeared out of sight, and soon the entire city.
