When Yuume returned home, he threw his bag on the chair, fed Heiwa and fell on the bed, tired. He needed a nap. But he wanted to meet with Kin. Well, that's all the same.
Yuume got up and took the bell out from a drawer. Since Heiwa dropped it from the shelf he was keeping it in a safe place. He preffered not to call Kin as accidentaly as back then.
Yuume laid down on the bed, covered himself with a blanket and closed his eyes, then he called Kin. The cold embraced him and the darkness pulled him with itself. But he was prepared for it.
Yuume sat up and looked around. He was in the forest. Beautiful, green forest. The sun was shining. On the sky, which he could see through the trees, there was not even one cloud.
But it was quiet. Yuume started walking. The only sound he heard were his footsteps. Besides, there was nothing.
No birds or other animals. He didn't hear cars. Other people also weren't here. Just him and this forest.
He looked up, guided by a strange feeling, and froze as he saw the other man's back. But this man was... hanged.
Yuume took a deep breath and walked to the hanged man, noticing that he doesn't hear his own steps. He didn't hear anything, he could just see.
He didn't have tools to cut a rope, so he did, what he hadn't done since he was sixteen. He climbed on a tree.
He froze a branch and hit it, breaking it. Kin fell to the ground and his Midtimes returned to a normal state - the endless void. Yuume, who was still on a tree, fell next to him.
They were laying like this, without moving, pretending that they don't remember, what just happened. Yuume was the first one, who decided to break the silence.
"Why?" he asked.
"Don't worry about this nightmare" murmured Kin, opening his eyes. "I'm used to it."
"It didn't feel like a nightmare, Kin" Yuume sat up. "It feeled more like a memory."
"Why do you think so?" asked Kin. "It was frightening, right? Why would I have such a memory?"
"Because everything was beautiful, Kin" explained Yuume. "This forest wasn't whitered. It was just awfully quiet. The leaves shone green. The sky was blue. The sun was shining. The sight of you hanging there didn't scare you. It scared me. Because you were the only scary thing about this place. You hanged from a tree. Nothing more."
Kin sat up. His mask tilted slightly. His hair was messy and his hands were shaking a little.
"I was ninteen, if you want to know" murmured Kin. "My brother and my friend found me. But in the reality I didn't manage to do it. I'm too short to throw the rope over the branch. So they saw me sitting under the tree, with fingers clenched on the rope and sobbing. I don't even know, why I was crying. Probably because I'm stupid."
Yuume looked at Kin.
"Why are you telling me this?" he asked.
"You wanted to know" replied Kin, a little confused.
"I know that I wanted" Yuume nodded. "But the last time in this situation you didn't want to talk, because we don't know each other. Does it mean that now we know each other better?"
Kin sighed.
"I don't know" replied yubiwa and Yuume had a feeling that he had been honest with him. "I'm sorry."
"You don't have to be" said Yuume. "I'm happy that you told me. It means that you're talking about your problems and you're never going to try it again."
Kin flinched, when Yuume hugged him.
"What are you doing?" asked the yubiwa.
"I'm hugging you, Kin" replied Yuume. "Friends hug each other."
"You're not my friend, you're just my client" said Kin firmly.
"Of course. You can call it that way, if you want" Yuume chuckled. "Kin?"
"What again?"
"If you just want to talk, you can call me, you know?" announced Yuume. "Until we meet in reality, I still have this bell."
Kin sighed again.
"You're stupid" he said. "By the way, what did you want that you called me in the first place?"
"I wanted to check, if everything is okay" replied Yuume.
