"Do you believe that's where they took Enkita?" Eve muttered as they snuck through buildings.

Kezdar stared at her, "We hit right on the fuckin' place, Drei's deviation facility," he said as he pointed to arrows made of fire leading to the building.

A hidden building on the outskirts of Drei was made for those who broke extremely serious laws, they would be kept under supervision at all times within the building, interrogated, and later they would be tortured and killed with the approval of officials.

"There are people who have crazy powers, all because of that thing we got earlier yesterday, or so they thought. I already had Hegira for a while, I stole that shit, they just never found out, but even worse is the fact that they never figured out that I was a Harpe user," Kezdar laughed as Eve looked in confusion.

Eve and Kezdar were in an alley just outside of the back entrance of the deviation facility, "That crazy thing your man Enkita pulled off last night, it was him first engaging his Harpe. All these arrows on fire, only us two can see, that is my Harpe ability. That's why I brought you with me, I already know how it goes in here, they just dispose of people with these special powers. For whatever reason there may be, maybe they just fear losing power, or something," he continued to point at the arrows.

Eve seemed troubled at what she just heard, "First of all, Enkita and I are merely allies, but what you said has me confused. What is Harpe exactly?" she questioned.

Kezdar continued to point at the fire, "You see how that fire led us to this building, that is my Harpe ability, I can find anyone, anywhere, and that is something based on the will of the user, I think. For example, I lost my parents a while back, and I wanted to find them really bad to the point where I hurt myself in the process, and one day I almost died. That near-death moment sparked something in me, suddenly in the blink of an eye I could just see a path form toward a certain direction."

"The path continued forward, and I was led to a cliff, from there the path continued in the air, I have nothing like flying abilities, so it was a dead end. My parents were beyond that cliff, but I was never able to get past it, because I was weak, and I couldn't do shit. After a while, the fire evaporates, and that's when I start to regenerate my energy. Believe it or not, your pal here has got my energy down, if we were to fight right now, I would be beaten to a pulp in no time."

"Well, I hope you understood what I was saying I'm not a reliable source about this stuff, this is as mysterious as it sounds, and that's about all of what the great Kezdar knows. Actually, I also have this cool fire blade, but as you can see the fire is not potent, and that's what I mentioned with my energy so let's not try to fight anyone okay," Kezdar caught his breath after explaining everything to Eve.

Eve was smart, she caught up on what Kezdar was explaining without question, "So you know, if we are found, we will be killed. But I have my own goals, we shall continue ahead," Eve said as she continued to sneak through the back of the building.

The signature of sin is what makes us powerful.

The first mission that Stiletto recruits would participate in was a major success; however, it wasn't due to the strength or capability of the recruits, it was rather an unknown power awakened within Enkita's Hegira. The gear those from Lyririe use to fight in war, that same gear that was handed down to all of the recruits to use.

"You know why you're here," Director Weiss spoke to a handcuffed Enkita, in what appeared to be an interrogation room.

Enkita stared at the ground, confused about his ability and what had happened yesterday. To add to his confusion, he was now arrested by the Director, and what appeared to be someone special next to her.

He began to wonder if what was going on was even real, one day he was at his home making sure his house would withstand the harsh winter, and now he was arrested by high ruling royalty on something he was unsure of.

A person completely covered, perhaps to be anonymous, stood next to Weiss as she started questioning Enkita on what happened the day before. "Those powers your fragile body let out, they were special," Director Weiss stared emotionlessly toward Enkita.

Enkita began feeling anxious, "I don't know what I even did, there were no mentions of whatever that was, and it just happened. I'm not even sure why I'm being arrested for that, I'm being honest here," he let out while they both stared him down.

Director Weiss laughed, "Of course. Of course, you don't know. Your ability out there was something dangerous, that no one should know of. You're aware of my stance on danger, right? We should dispose of it, as soon as possible, right?" she demanded.

"Does this mean you're killing me? For something that I don't even know of. Something completely out of my control? What the fuck, I thought you guys were the ones trying to help people," Enkita cried out as they both watched.

The person spoke, and the person seemed to have a filter built-in to avoid recognition by voice, "You're correct, we're trying to save people, and by that logic, you will be subjected to our usual protocols with these situations," they said in a completely neutral tone.

The person next to Director Weiss opened a book to a certain page and showed it to Enkita, the book had drawings of people tortured, mutilated, and text claiming genocide of a certain group of people. The book seemed like a journal of some sort.

Enkita looked at the drawings, "That person standing above all those corpses, it looks like you, the black coat, black pants, black boots, helmet with a mask on top of it, it fits everything about you. What is this... supposed to mean?" he yelled out in utter confusion.

Director Weiss grabbed the journal and went to another page, "Over many years, with my utmost ability, I have murdered every single Harpe user in this world. They are a known threat to mankind, there shall be no other Harpe users remaining," Director Weiss read from the journal.

"I am the commander of Lyririe, the leader of Krester, the most powerful royalty in the entirety of Choshire. Harpe is created based on the user's will, you will be as strong as you let yourself be with Harpe, and I'm able to sense something within you already," the commander pulled out a huge blade and took a stance.

Enkita struggled in his handcuffs, trying to escape, "I can't let you kill me. I don't know what this whole ordeal really is about, but I am not letting myself die. I have someone who I can't let down," Enkita stared at the commander as he failed to escape.

Director Weiss grabbed Enkita's head and put it in a position where the commander could easily decapitate him, "He's ready to go, Meirius," she told the commander.

The door busts open behind them, Kezdar and Eve standing behind them, "Is this one of those moments where foolish children believe they have power and fight against authority over a toy? That's what I see, I see desperation," Director Weiss laughed at the situation.

"Kezdar? Eve? What are you both doing here?" Enkita questioned what was going on beneath him.

The commander doesn't hesitate and attempts to decapitate Enkita at that moment, "ENKITA!" Eve screamed. The blade was an inch away from his head, but before the blade could cut through. All the lights in the building shone down on Eve's body, the building started to shake, and in the blink of an eye, Kezdar, Eve, and Enkita all disappeared from the building.

The commander's blade smashed into the ground, but it missed Enkita's head. "More Harpe users, issue an alert right away for wanted status. Set to highest priority across the town of Krester, get our most powerful soldiers on the lookout for them, we need to dispose of scoundrels like these before anything happens," the commander ordered Director Weiss.

Director Weiss was in shock, "I will get to it right away, Meirius. I'm not sure how they were able to do that, but now we shall kill them on sight," she said angered.

Enkita, Kezdar, and Eve suddenly appeared outside of Enkita's house, it was as if they used teleportation from one spot to another. "What the hell was that!?" Enkita exclaimed.

Kezdar was holding onto Eve, "Wake up, wake up. Please?" Kezdar kept screaming at Eve to wake up. "She has no pulse," Kezdar yelled at Enkita.

Enkita froze, seeing Kezdar attempting to wake up a lifeless Eve in front of him. Confusion was the least of his worries now, Kezdar was trying to talk to Enkita, but he wasn't registering anything that was happening.

"She used up all of her energy in one go. She killed herself trying to use that power so prematurely," Kezdar screamed.

Enkita remained frozen as he processed losing yet another person, this time someone who sacrificed themselves only for him to continue living. He felt guilty, he felt upset, he felt gone.

"I'm not sure what to do anymore."
