Oh yeah in this world marriage in the royal family is entirely political therefore if two men were to marry for political reasons, it would be accepted and no one would care. Usually this only happens when the second son of a family and another second son has no one to marry they end up together. However since they need to produce an heir, it is made possible by magic to produce an heir without a female so gender is completely out of context in marriage.  You might want to hold onto this piece of info while reading ,it might become useful in the future chapters. Ah and remember the political part. You can't marry the same gender for love. I think this is pointless but it's part of the plot so we need it so until next time!
