Just in case anyone missed the memo, there's not going to be a new page on Friday. I'll give you three guesses why. But seriously, the time between chapters is just a good time to catch on my buffers (and play lots of Zelda). XD
Also, I'd like to introduce the first Non-Canon Tangent Episode. This will be my gag filler comic for MIS to use during breaks if I just happen to have a silly idea I want to throw out there (those who've read my work with Rain, may find this reminiscent of Rain Delay strips). In these gag strips, much like real non-canon tangent episodes in anime and such, there's not going to be any story in these and I can get as silly as I want and do things that don't make a lick of sense because it's a Non-Canon Tangent Episode. No one's ever going to talk about what happened here again anyway, no matter how seemingly permanent, groundbreaking, or absurd as it may seem. So just have fun with it! ^_^
I confess this wasn't actually going to be a comic at first, though. The original idea was that I just wanted to draw Chiaki cosplaying Link from the new game because I apparently don't do fan art anymore and just draw Chiaki cosplaying as characters. But then I thought it would be funny if she somehow got her hands on the game (despite being from the year 2000, in another world without Nintendo Switch, Zelda, etc.) and skipped class for it, which I feel is in character for her. Not even to mention that no one else knows what she's even talking about.
Anyway, I was going to post this tomorrow during my usual post time, but just in case I'm too enthralled to step away from the couch, I decided to do it the night before. So have a nice night, hope you like the comic, and if you're into that kind of thing I hope you enjoy the new Zelda too. ^_^
Follows the strange story of Chiaki, a daydreaming otaku who longs to confess her feelings to her childhood friend, Fumiko, and how that's made especially difficult when she gets transported to another world...
