After some vigorous jogging Toby comes to a full stop. Cyril has to take his woollen hat off to fan himself whilst Toby explains that right behind the next shrubbery there definitely is a strong smell of berries coming out of.
To their extreme surprise they find the pup triplet, faces and paws covered in berry juices.
Cyril proceeds to explain the ruined raspberry harvest and Edwin's upset. He continues by asking the pups what they know of this and if they are indeed been tucking into the lost raspberries.
The pups quickly explain that they haven't seen Edwin's raspberries and that they were only enjoying a basket of blackberries their mom, Winifred, gave them for dessert. However they are concerned over the ruined raspberries and while the pups are explaining and figuring out how to help, Toby has a sniff around.
He can still smell a hint of raspberry. Better move along quickly.
