"What a warm scenery," I said

A cottage lit by candlelights 

Little warm fires in contrast with the moonlight 

From the window, sweet sent of the flowers came through 

A perfect lovely evening in view

"Sit, my child," the Shepherd asked 

"I shall tell you my story, unmasked
