Raun's POV

My phone didn't go off, it is already 10:43 in the morning, and my best friend is still sleeping while embracing me. I tried to remove her arms from me to get up but she insists on holding on to me. 

We really need to get up or else my parents will get home and they will see us cuddling naked. I pushed myself up but she suddenly grips my arm and pulls me down pushing all the air out of my lungs.

''Why are you getting up? it's early we should still be sleeping,'' she whines while still holding on to me.  

I turn to my side and look at her but her eyes are still closed so I manually had to open them with my fingers. She was getting angry but I didn't care she needs to wake up. We need to get up. Because if we don't get downstairs and my dad sees us in this kind of state my ass will get the beating.

''Open your damn eyes, Scarlette! We need to get up!'' I shout at her while she's still struggling to pry my hands off of her face. ''Or do you want your mom to know tha-'' 

She immediately opens her eyes, sits up then glares at me. I just smirked at her before pulling the blanket off of her body.

I thought she would just stop and listen to me but before I know it, she attacked me then pushes me down then she leans closer before biting my right shoulder and making me grunt in pain.

She got up and hastily went out of the room while chuckling on the way down.

She acts like a child but on the outside, she seems so mature that sometimes I wonder how can she switch so fast.

I head downstairs to make out breakfast after I put on some clothes while she gets ready. 

My house is just your average home but without that default carpet that almost everybody has. We have a sofa which is pretty comfy to rest on and in front of it is a 50 inches tv that we rarely use since we usually just watch stuff on my pc or phone.

And in the kitchen, we don't have a kitchen island but we have a marble dining table for a family of six which is ironic since I always eat out.

For our breakfast, I clumsily cracked some eggs into the bowl and put some vegetables in brunoise so it cooks well. For short I made an omelet and toasted some bread and made a hot choco since she has a sweet tooth.

Once I'm done, I called for her to come down and eat but she was taking her time, after a few minutes, she finally came with her phone out.

''Raun, look at what I found!'' She excitedly shoves her phone at my face.

I just rolled my eyes at her since it was probably another toy or boy she likes to have. So I just push her away and place the plates on the table. 

I can hear her whining about how insensitive I'm being right now but I couldn't care less, since I know she will do what she wants to do even though she keeps on asking for my opinion, it's useless. 

''Raun, can you please just take a look at it? It's pretty awesome! Please!'' 

But I just ignore her and take a seat to have my breakfast. 

I think I didn't put enough seasoning but with soy sauce, I can save it.

I was about to go for another bite when she suddenly steps into my personal space and sat on my lap facing me with her eyebrows crossed. But I didn't care, she can alternate her moods every hour so I'm used to it. 

I look at her for a second before gazing back at my food, I took a spoonful of omelet and feed it to her while she was still talking. 

''Chew it thoroughly,'' 

She just rolled her eyes at me but still obliged. She looks so adorable, I couldn't help myself but give her a kiss on the cheek seeing how she really chew it thoroughly. 

''Was it up to your taste?'' I ask before wiping away the soy sauce stain that was left on her lips.

She nods her head.

"Now, please look at my phone!" She exclaims while pushing the device at my face.

Having enough of it, I finally look at her screen and am surprised and angry simultaneously.

It's a message from one of the boys that she has been texting. It's probably another heartbreak at her end. But she won't do it even if I tell her to stay away.

''Another boy you'll date, yeah, yeah, I know.'' I roll my eyes as I continue eating. 

She clicks her tongue at me before throwing her phone at the couch behind her. But I paid her no mind, I'm okay with it. It's not like we are in some kind of romantic relationship.

''I'm just showing him to you because of his TikTok videos, it has nothing to do about dating him.'' She reasons to me before sneakily hugging me from behind.

But I just keep on ignoring her ass, she never learns her lesson.

''Believe me~'' 

''Yeah you say that but you'll-'' I wanted to yell at her but I stopped myself. ''Just help me clean up.''

She crossed her eyebrows at me but still helped me wash the dishes. I didn't say anything more about the thing she showed me before and acted normal without showing my true emotions about that matter.

Soon after as I predicted, my dad appeared behind us already dressed in his work clothes. I greeted him good morning to which he smiled back. He turns his gaze at my friend and says hello. I started making his coffee while he chatted with Scar, once I was done I placed the mug under his nose and grabbed Scar, and yell at my dad goodbye while I take us upstairs to my room.

''I can clearly see he has favorites!''

''He was cool though.''

''Don't even think about it!''

''Think about what?!''

We stayed in my room till I see my dad's car pulling out of the driveway.

We spent the whole day in my house, watching series and other stuff on my laptop. It was great having your own tv in your room, you can watch whatever you feel like watching. 

At first, we started with a typical show but soon when the night came my neighbors can hear my playlist streaming.
