The coastal town of Quipaix, peaceful and prosperous, is in the midst of preparation for the annual celebration of the summer solstice, in honor of Solaris, Goddess of the Sun.
However, this calm gets disturbed by a giant tree, suddenly appearing on the tallest building of the city, dominating the surroundings with its foliage.
Within it, an old witch and a mysterious young girl, Mériem, who seem to be opposites in every way, live together.
Is this allegedly unintentional apparition simply a coincidence, or is it the play of destiny? What fate awaits these two women, in this historically charged town?
