When I get to work the next morning, I get called into the manager's office, and when I get there, he tells me that my shifts now take place Christian's bedroom, the living room, and in Aiden's bedroom. "NO! I mean... that would be lovely, I supose I am going to continue getting paid though, correct?" "Why, of course! But you also have to attend any events that either of the Cole brothers ask of you. Don't screw this up, and just please do whatever they ask, no matter what." He responds. I sigh, and wish I didn't have to see Christian every day, the one that tried to seduce me. I run into Christian, and he asks if I'll go to another party with him, and at least pretend to be his girlfriend, just to keep the other guys away from me. I agree, and the following day, go to the party. Jaxon is there, with his little minions, and tries to start flirting with me, but I quickly back away. Christian immediatly goes over to the poker area, and asks me to play for him. I've never played before, so Christian wraps his arms around me from behind, and points at each crad, and how I could play them. I thank him, and pretend to have a horrible hand, thinking that they'll belive that I actually can't keep a poker face, and let out an "Ugh!" in the very beginning. Everybody puts all of their chips in, and then I say, "Flush," and put out my Ace of Spades, King of Spades, Queen of Spades, and the Jack of Spades, and from that single round win $500,000. "Nice job!" Christian yells. Everyone congratulates me, then Jaxon comes over, and tries to flirt with me again. "Hey," I say, "you have no chance with me. So why not give up?" I tell Jaxon, and take Christian's arm. "You sure have guts, for a little thing like you," Jaxon smiles evily at me, as he reaches out to caress my cheek, and so I put his hand to my cheek, and then kick his right knee. "Oooow!" He yells out, and falls backwards to the floor, then, Christian pulls my face towards his own, and leans in, giving me a small peck, then pulling away, smiling. The manager appears out of nowhere and says, "Raegan, I need you to come with me," I go to leave with him, but Christian stops me, grabs my wrist, yanks my arm behind me, and gives the manager some orders, clearly wanting me to stay with him. "I understand, but--" the manager starts. "You told Raegan that she must do whatever I or Aiden say, no matter what, I told her to be my girlfriend, so here we are!" Christian replies back. "Yes, sir," says the manager, and leaves, probably to tell the rest of the staff what happened. "So, will this ever change?" I ask Christian, who smiles and laughs, then shakes his head, and says, "no," and I smile.
