The two kids were giggling together. One of the kids had light golden hair; the sunlight illuminating his hair, making him seem like a ball of sunshine. He had bright blue eyes; the color of a cloudless sky. Tan skin from running around and causing ruckus. The other kid stared intently at him. He had opposite features, with raven black hair, pale skin, almost a sickly color. Very dark brown eyes; almost black, seeming like an endless pit. The eyed fellow was considerably smaller, too.
The black haired kid always followed the blond kid everywhere. At that time, he was a nuisance to the sunny kid. All over the palace the smaller child would shyly follow a couple steps behind the louder and sunnier kid. If the sunnier kid was making ruckus with the maids, then he was there, too. If he was sleeping, then other one would be sleeping right next to him, too.
At one point, in the hallway the sunny kid turned around and pointed at the gloomy kid,” You better stop following me! Or you’ll get this!” He said as he flexed his scrawny arm.
The gloomy kid stuttered and fumbled, and ended running up to the sunny kid and bear hugged him with a bright red face. The sunny kid blushed like roses blooming on his face and stuttered, “HEY! Y-You little kid!”
They both fell on the ground struggling with each other.
Oliver blinked himself awake.
He sighed as he ruffled his hair with his hands.
Reminiscing again. Thought Oliver.
Nothing will come out of these dreams. He almost wanted to beg to himself to stop, but how could Oliver do it when it is his own mind making the dreams?
He wiped the little bit of dried saliva off the side of his mouth.
Oliver got up and ready for another day.
This time around he went to classes obediently. The first class was Mana origins and it went extremely not well considering Damien was breathing down his neck.
His luck seemed to be terrible today as the teacher assigned group projects, and Damien was the first in line to write each others names down as a team. ( Lucky for Damien—it was only two partners per team.)
This was to get the students aquatint to the other teachers and have them get used to the school. With the compassion he has to his students; he assigned the groups in unique tasks around the academy. Such as helping the chemistry with her potions , or helping another teacher with some other tasks,
Much misfortune fell to Oliver as they got a quite isolated task; to dig up the crops for the school cafeteria. Now this was not a whole field, but specialized crops. It was located in a very desolated area; something Damien was looking forward to.
Damien was clueless on how to get on Olivers good side, and he had a feeling that he should do it before this year ends. A sickening, clenching, stomach pain took hold of him every time he thought about the end of this year without Oliver. At this point Damien was desperate for Oliver.
Damien was looking at Oliver as they were heading across the campas to get that patch of plants. Oliver was walking face forward thinking about something. Damien loved everything about Oliver, so he wished to rewind time so he could make amends. He just didn’t know how to get into the mind of Oliver as get a read of him.
Before they fully arrived, there was a sign in red saying no noise. They both finally arrived at the garden and see no one around but a little almost police like station. The station had tinted windows; impossible to see inside. They both went up and Oliver did not know how to approach knocking on the door.
A big gruffy man with a giant mustache, taking up almost all his face, answered the door. He looked like he was expecting visitors; silently he let them into a surveillance room- full view of the patch of vegetables. The dude took a seat on his rolling chair and finally sighed, “You guys are safe to talk in here, as long as that door is closed.” He said as he was pointing at the door.
“My name is Alex, and you’ll be taking my place in watching over this patch of plants. If anything ever happens you’ll be connecting to me through this communicator by pressing this button.”
Alex looked more then ready to leave; he got up and waved at them and mentioned,” Don’t let anyone near this plot of land okay?” He silently left.
Oliver did not leave time wasted as he was about to leave to go up and personal with the plants, but he was grabbed and pulled into sitting in the chair. Damien loomed over him and looked frantic. “ Let’s talk okay?” He spoke out.
Oliver sighed and looked up,” Okay, but don’t beg like last time.”
Damien looked like he had an invisible doggie tail wagging around as he shot for a stool and took a seat slightly lower then Oliver. Damien fumbled with his words as he did not know what to say first.
“Oliver, are you okay?” Damien mumbled as he fiddled with his thumbs.
Oliver sighed again as he leaned back turning to look at the crops.
“I don’t know at this point Damien.” Without looking at his partner,” Next question.”
”I just want to talk to you Oliver; I really love you- you know?”
Oliver stayed silent. Damien cleared his throat in awkwardness.
”Oliver give me a chance, please, I just want to speak—“
”What did I say about begging? I’m letting you talk I’m just not answering some questions.”
Damien contemplated his next set of words.
“How about this, we play the twenty one question game, and plus you get to ask me questions, too, what do you think?”
Oliver thought for a bit about the pros and cons, then turned around in interest.
