Haru was bad-tempered during the days his parents stayed...

So everyone walked on eggshells around him while we were at work.

He kept yelling at other employees for not doing their job right. I could feel everyone hated me more as they were witnessing Haru venting his anger at them but still a softie around me.

In the aftermath of a hellish week, I couldn't stay still anymore, I walked into his office for the lunch break. "Haru, we need to talk..."

Haru was sitting behind his desk, getting someone's number. He lifted his pointed finger to signal me to wait. I sat down on the couch in the middle of his office, waiting for him to finish.

He approached and sat next to me when he was done with his call, resting his head on my shoulder. "What's up?..."

I brushed his cheeks slightly. "Can't you be nice to them?"

Haru lifted his head and stared at me. "What do you mean?... If they had done their job properly, I wouldn't have gotten mad at them..."

I muttered, "But you don't have to be so harsh..."

He touched my neck, looking pissed. "Are you scolding your boss?..."

I clenched my fists, "Bringing the boss title in such a situation like this is a cheat, you brat..."

He chuckled and lay his head on my lap, "Fine... I'll try~... but you have to pay me back by giving me a head massage right now... I have a terrible headache."

"DEAL!..." I answered and put my fingers on his head, starting to massage it lightly...

Haru closed his eyes and sighed in relief. I could feel his muscles relaxing beneath my fingertips. His breathing grew deeper and more peaceful as I continued to massage his head.

He nodded off for 45 minutes in that position, and I remained still and let him be since he looked so tired. I nuzzled his hair and observed his face while he was sleeping. I moved my finger towards his eyelashes, they were unbelievably long, then I slipped down his nose and touched his lips slightly which somehow reminded me of the time when he suddenly kissed me when we were kids... As I was lost in old memories, Haru suddenly opened his eyes, and I flinched backwards as a reflection.

"What's with the sudden jump?!..." He asked while sitting up.

I looked away, blushed, "Nothing~... you startled me~..."

Haru grinned at me and leaned closer to me with his mischievous gaze, "Hm~..." Then held my face and bit my cheek gently. I pushed him right away, "Stop messing with me, I'll go now you're awake~..." I stood up and headed to the door, "Make sure to eat something before the last 15 minutes end." And left the room hurriedly while my heart was pounding so hard. I could hear his laughter after teasing me...

At night, we had a dinner meeting with one of his VIP clients. As his assistant, I also accompanied him...

The client was a middle-aged man named Choi Kihoon, incredibly rich, so he was absolutely crucial to our company...

+"I'll go home..."

-"I'm going to be at home when you wake up... see ya..."
