The Death Scythes
All the death scythes originate from a very special lake, created by a single drop of an angel’s tear. Each new moon night, when the sky is clear and the water lies still like a mirror, the reflection of the moon forms the sharpest blade in the universe—sharp enough to harvest souls.
Death, wielding a unique pitch-black wooden stick, approaches the lake. This stick is no ordinary piece of wood; it comes from a rare tree that grows only when it absorbs a deceased body. As Death positions the stick to catch the moon’s reflection on the lake’s surface, a scythe begins to take shape.
When Death finally draws the scythe from the cold, still water, it signals that someone’s time has come to rest in peace.
