Kuu'Kwe'ni is a little tough to describe, almost literally it means "You are ok" almost as if it's a command "YES YOU WILL BE OK"
I think this comes from the fact there's no real way to ask a question in Mixtec, you simply say something and you will either look forward to it happening or it won't, there's no if and's or but's about it!
That's really interesting though, in English you have different tools to express yourself. And Mixtec does so too! They are very different but I think learning both ways to express oneself is worth it.
There are so many stories that have been told in both languages, maybe I'll tell this one in both as well.
the two characters on the top left are from my dear friend Cecil! and they are Sicely and Anthea!! the most recent comic they're in is The Carousel Waltz (currently awaiting a reboot!)
the two characters on the top right are from my good friend Kayla and they are Dinora and Sesha! from The Sixth world!!
The adventures of Lali Lopez as she tries to uncover the secrets in the fictional city of Maza, as well as the various unique individuals that dwell there too.
Every chapter title will also be a word from my indigenous language of Mixtec! (Tu'un Ndavi)
Updates, whenever I can (Usually every month I hope)
