Alongside them were Aldric, a timid researcher who sought to learn the art of combat from Qi Xiuyan, Silvia, a vengeful spirit craving retribution for her own death, Yura, a fiery-tempered girl consumed by anger, and Kai, a man burned alive by his own family, fueled by a desire for revenge.

The ghost warriors formed a circle around Qi Xiuyan.

"Alright, No need to fear, I am with you guys, Fight all you want and to your heart's content!"

Sensing the arrival of the alien scouts, a mischievous smile played on Qi Xiuyan's lips. Little did he know that the encounter would prove to be a comical spectacle.

Qi Xiuyan almost died at the hands of Cain's sword.

Qi Xiuyan glared at Cain.

"Cain, watch where you swing that sword! Almost took my head off!"

Cain was silent and then said.

"My apologies, Hell King. Ghost reflexes, you know."

Qi Xiuyan:..Did you try to crack a joke?!

Emily came near Qi Xiuyan from the right side.

"Hell King, do you think we can scare the aliens away with our ghostly appearance?" Qi Xiuyan who dodged Yura's attack:

"Well, they did seem quite confused when they saw your face, Emily. Maybe we have a shot!"

Emily:...Do I look so ugly?

While she was in self-doubt, Sarah was in an awkward state as Cain and she were both Special Agents. She murmured.

"I can't believe I have to fight alongside the one I killed. This is awkward." Qi Xiuyan said back.

"Awkward? Try fighting aliens while being attacked by your own ghost assassin. That's awkward!"

Qi Xiuyan saw Aldric squatting down and mumbling and shivering. When Aldric saw Qi Xiuyan coming over, He quickly asked.

"My King! I'm not sure I'm cut out for this fighting stuff."

Qi Xiuyan was confused.

"Come on, Aldric! Show those aliens your research skills. They won't know what hit them!"

Aldric:..What will hit them?

Qi Xiuyan:...Sigh.

Yura's other attack came to take his life, Qi Xiuyan dodged and kicked the Alien who was in front of him and shouted.

"Yura! you better not mess up this time!"

"Oh, don't worry, Hell King. I promise not to trip over my own feet this time."

Aldric mumbled: How tripy.

Kai who was going wild, laughed aloud.

" Revenge is a dish best served flaming hot!" Sarah glared at him.

"Just don't burn the forest down, Kai. We still need a place to fight."

Kai said as he made a bigger flame ball.

"I've been waiting for this moment, I have been frustrated for so long."

Seeing such huge flame, Sarah gulped.

"Just make sure you don't get too carried away, Kai. We still need to save some aliens for the others."

In the midst of the battle, Qi Xiuyan continued scolding his ghost companions, who were now desperately trying to avoid hitting their Hell King. "Cain, Emily, can't you see straight in the afterlife? Aim for the aliens, not me!" he shouted, frustration evident in his voice.

The ghost warriors, realizing their mistake, refocused their attacks on the alien invaders. With newfound determination, they fought alongside their Hell King, their spectral forms intertwining with the alien creatures in a surreal dance of life and death.

Finally, with a final strike, Qi Xiuyan delivered the decisive blow to the alien leader. The creature let out a screech of defeat, its body dissipating into nothingness. The remaining aliens, witnessing the fall of their leader, retreated into the shadows, vanishing from the forest.

"Damn! Don't let them run away!"

Yura saw him shout And asked.

"Seems like you have a plan." Qi Xiuyan glared.

"Of course, I have a plan, Yura. It's called "Let the ghosts handle it."

After finishing them all of, Everyone gathered to have a small chit-chat, as they will return to their training soon.

Emily sweetly asked.

"Do you think the aliens will be impressed by our fighting skills?"

Silvia glanced at her.

"Well, if they're not impressed, at least they'll be thoroughly entertained."

Cain controlled his laughter but his trembling shoulders gave him away.

Seeing Cain laugh, Qi Xiuyan said with a glare.

"Cain, I thought you were aiming for the aliens, not me! I almost lost an arm!"

Cain stopped laughing and repeated.

"My ghost reflexes."

Thinking of him almost dead, Qi Xiuyan glared at Yura.

"Yura, I know you're hot-tempered, but could you direct that fire at the aliens and not at me?"

"You're lucky I didn't scorch your hair, How silky~"

"Silvia, remember, the sword is for the aliens, not for my toes. Can you please differentiate?"
