In case you're wondering, I imagine before gems had other ways to tell the time they also used to have good ol' clocks, and I'm sure with organics being such an "issue" sometimes (read: distracting Pink on her colony) Doom and Bloom also learned a basic thing or two about them. You know, to take some of the future potential fascination away. Wonder if it will work? :)
