Gamer opened his eyes, finding himself standing in the smooth, white quartz-stoned ballroom of Heaven's palace and weirdly himself, dressed in the purist white, jewelled with gold and tiny white and blue diamonds.... an angelic outfit that made him feel sick and some what exposed even though majority of his body was covered with the heavenly and light silk robes.
As he looked around the ballroom, he found himself being circled by the dozens of noble heaven families, all creepily smiling at him, dancing around him whilst keeping a ten-foot distance. And as Gamer's head moved to the front of the room, he met the eyes of the royal family of the angelic realm, them too watching him closely yet none of them smiled.
"Starlight".
He froze up at the name, whipping his head around yet the creepy emotionless smiles of angels is all that stared back at him, no potential owner of the voice.
"Starlight" another voice sung.
Gamer turned his head again to where he pinpointed the new voice yet no owner, just staring angels.
"Starlight".
Now two voices sung out, then three in another direction, then ten in the other, about twenty-three in an opposite direction.... soon a crowd of voices, either singing out or whispering the divine name over and over again, no one's lips moving, just smiling. Gamer covered his ears, the sickness in the pit of his stomach becoming worst, the metallic haunting taste of blood running through his mouth and a horrid lump forming in his throat.
"Starlight....".
His eyes widened at the horridly familiar voice, one so cold and harsh trying to pass off itself as 'loving'. Gamer's eyes burned as they glowed and shone their bright divine light "My dear Starlight~" he slowly lifted his head up, enough to see the looming shadowed man standing in front of him, smiling down at the poor fallen. "Returning home in your absolute divineness and all" the shadling smiled as slight horror loomed within the pit of the fallen's stomach along with the sickness he was managing to keep down "....this isn't my home-" "Of course it is" the man cut Gamer off with a bright and proud smile "You were born and raised here, since your very first carnation.... where you're standing right now is the exact spot Queen Indira Peace and Princess Ezlyn Morning created you" the shadowed man stated, pointing beneath Gamer's feet. "Or more rather where Elettra Lights was created and wiped out exactly half of Hell's population" the shadling corrected himself as now the whispering and singing of the same word finally died within the horrid crowd of smiles "And since you've been reincarnated, you still carry the blame for billions of demonic celestial lives ending- you carry centuries old blood on your hands". Gamer's eyes tightly closed choosing to ignore the man.
A nightmare.
This is just another one of this shadling's darkly-woven nightmares, tailored to make the fallen hate himself or worse.
"So... what do you think? is living as an eternal immortal of light and hope the future you want?" the shadowed man questioned "Alone forever in the glorious light and praise of people who only promise fake or creepish love?" he asked as Gamer shook his head, trying to block him out "With memories that aren't yours? or the inability to remember your current life-" "Get out of my head!" the fallen hissed at the shadling, earning a horrid, amused laugh from the man. "We have a deal, little star-" the shadling's eyes immediately widened as Gamer summoned a blade into his hand and stabbed himself with it.

Tuesday, February 5th
3:45am
Gamer jolted wake, immediately turning onto his side as a small amount of vomit burst through his lips and onto the dirt beside him.
He was fully awake and safe, yet along with the horrid fact that the shadling had gotten into his head and messed with his dreams again, he had also been sleepwalking and was currently outside, laying on the dirt-dusted grass just outside of his class's dormitory house.
Gamer heaved and gagged, the awful taste of bile rotting his mouth as his throat throbbed and burned. He slowly sat up, looking around at the pitch black before holding up his right hand a little and after a while of hard yet horribly tired concentration, a tiny orb of light illuminated within his hand, throwing off just enough light to help him see at least a foot or two in front of him.
The fallen stumbled up onto his feet, brushing himself off a little before carefully making his way through the dark, up the veranda steps and to the front door of the dorm house yet as he tried the doorknob, the fallen ended up groaning.
Locked.
Gamer sighed, walking down the veranda stairs and around the right side of the dorm house, over to where the window of his dorm should be. Letting the light of the dim orb go out, Gamer carefully placed his foot of the wooden edging of the building, gripping the window frame, slowly pulled himself up. Leaning one arm on the bottom framing of the window, he used the other to open the window... or at least attempt to.
It was locked.
'Since when do we lock the fucking window?' the fallen silently yet harshly questioned himself as he looked in through the window, through the small crack of the curtains, over at Anti, groaning at the sight of the betraka demon who had fallen into a deep sleep with his headphones on, faint music still playing through them and into his ears.
Gamer dropped back down to the ground, not bothering to summon another orb of light, he used his hand and ran it along the side of the house to guide him back to and up the veranda stairs, back to the front door again. The fallen stood there for a minute of two, thinking, before his eyes finally fell on the darkened outline of the only window looking out the front of the house. He stood there, thoughts rushing through his head- especially the one thought reminding him of who's dorm room that window lead to, but.... what else could he do?
He was too tired and drained to shadow-walk inside, and had also just been sick.
The window to his room is locked and his roommate has headphones on, and is known to be a deep sleeper.
He could knock on one of the other guys' windows, wake them up and get them to open the front door but after yesterday's long day of pe class filled with combat training, they're all diffidently knocked out cold too. And he could try throwing pebbles at one of the girls' windows on the second floor and get their attention but again, same problem with the guys, they would all be out for the count too.
Gamer's eyes flicked back over to the window, groaning under his breath as he hesitantly made his way over to said window. He moved the veranda's chair-swing a little out before peering in through the window, immediately seeing Dark in a deep sleep far across the room with his back turned towards the window yet the second person, Death, laid asleep on his bed, his phone lying beside him, still turned on and showing only the background of the home screen, a picture of Death, Gamer, and the casino staff members posed outside the ripper's casino back in Hell.
Gamer took a moment to think through what he was about to do before shaking his head. "Fuck it" he muttered, closing his eyes as he knocked on the window and with immediate response, Death jolted awake, knife summoning into his hand as he shot up, the action making the fallen flinch a little. Gamer hesitantly knocked on the window again "Death" he spoke, keeping his voice down as the ripper turned his head to the fallen, tiredly raising a confused brow as he looked at him. The ripper unsummoned his knife as he climbed back onto his bed, shifting over to the window "Game?" he paused for a moment before speaking again "....this a dream?" "No" Gamer immediately answered the ripper's stupid question "Then why are you-" "Look, I slept-walked again and locked myself out" the fallen explained. Death tiredly blinked a few times "...and?" "And?!" Gamer almost yelled, immediately covering his mouth in regret before angrily sighing and speaking again "Can you let me in, please?" the fallen asked as Death smirked, folding his arms "Why should I?" he questioned. Gamer glared at him "I'm not playing this game with you- let me in" "Alright" the ripper rolled his eyes. The fallen watched him get up off the bed and walk out of the room, a few seconds later, the front door opened. "Finally" Gamer breathed out in relief, walking over and stepping inside, he turned his head towards the ripper yet Death had already walked back into his room, tiredly mumbling "Don't lock yourself out again" before closing the door of the dorm room whilst Gamer sighed, relieved to be back in the house as he closed and locked the front door behind himself.
Grey Army Base, District 1, Dark Nation, England, Mid
Lev slowly made his way down the corridor of the Grey Army Base.
The Grey Leader had finally eased up on the babysitting guards, now allowing Lev to roam the base without being followed yet had harshened the orders of keeping the seer inside the base no matter what.
Lev was also still wearing the upgraded shock collar, an instant kill switch connected to his neck..... and he hasn't had his heartstone given back to him.
He turned the corner and stopped at the first window overlooking the dead lands that laid outside.
The late-night walks of the sleeping base is what had been keeping the seer as calm as he could, but every time he found a window, it just reminded himself of the shit situation he was currently in.
The Dark Nation's sky was a horrid mixture of hazy red and black, and all of its plant-life and buildings stood either dead or burnt in rubble.... and this is only District 1, all the other districts were rumoured to be so much worse, especially District 13 which holds both the worst of the worst criminals and the 'Freakshow', a place you only hear mere whispers about.
Lev leaned against the window framing, fiddling with the silver ring still haunting his important finger as he looked out at the dead-ridden land, light footsteps slowly coming towards him. "It's never a nice view" a quietened feminine voice stated as Lev turned his head, eyes widening a little at the sight of the silver blonde-haired woman.... Nicole Grey, the Grey Leader's wife. Her pale face was tear-stained whilst her glassy greyish-blue eyes were dulling with life, light grey flowy dress clinging to her skin a little. "My la-" "Please.... don't" Nicole begged, cutting Lev off before he could properly greet her "Don't use any titles around me" she asked, her head lowering a little "I don't deserve any of it...." her voice stated in a whisper. Lev was a little confused- the woman standing before him was rumoured to be strong and confident soldier yet right now, meeting her for the first time, she was the exact opposite: weak, tiny, depressed and both physically and mentally extremely fragile. It wasn't until his eyes fell to the inner side of her legs, a single line of now dried blood. "Uh... Nicole...... are you alright?" Lev hesitantly asked, keeping his voice quiet and gentle as his eyes lifted back up to Nicole's watery ones "He's going to kill me" she whimpered.
"We're planning on having a kid of our own soon..."......
Lev remembered the Grey Leader telling him that, along with the conversation that followed afterwards.
He let Nicole hug him, as tight as she wanted whilst she cried into his chest 'She had a miscarriage, didn't she?' Lev sadly thought as he gently wrapped his arms around her, being careful just in case if the horribly saddened woman was also pain.
"...Frank won't kill you, unfortunately this happens all the time-" "This is the fourth time" Nicole cut Lev off "Give him at least one kid- that's all I had to do..... he was so angry last time" she cried.
Anger. That's what Lev felt, strongly towards the Grey Leader.
Lev held Nicole's shoulders, pulling her away from him "What if I'm beside you when you tell him?" he offered yet she immediately shook her head "No, you don't know what he'll do-" "I'm the Jade Starling, Nicole.... he knows he can't hurt me and I won't let him hurt you" the seer told the weeping woman, cringing a little for using that stupid starling-title shit as Nicole hugged him again, showering him in tear-filled thankyous.
