At Safi's temple, servants were transporting appetizers. A white, dark brown haired boy addressed one of them."Can I have one?"
"These are exclusively for the chosen ones." The servant whisked away, impeding the boy from grasping the food.
"You're not a chosen one." Mimicked uptight, Naseem kicked a rock causing a tiny whirlwind."I'm still their brother!"
"I can't believe you've let him run away again." The youngest was livid at his sisters."Even though his own mother cooperated!"
"We'll get him, bro." The twins spurned."Why are you tense?"
"Maybe because he's the Arkav, the word destroyer!" The down to earth boy was aghast at their neglect.
"We're fated to stop him, chill." The goth ate delicacies, tranquilly while her brother was pulling his hair out.
"The planet is sentenced to doom and you're enjoying your privileges, Najla will scold us when she gets wind of it!"
"She will, if we tell her. Which we won't." The bubbly girl smiled.
"You're heroes, not leeches! How about working for once?" His nagging began, the two ignored."Are you paying attention?"
"You're like the wind, little brother." Jamilah chaffed.
"We know it's there, but we can't see it." Rajani snided, their little brother was about to leave when the door kicked open and hit him."oow!"
"It's an emergency! The king summons the chosen ones!"
The twins rushed out, getting up, the boy massaged his nose, before he could tag along the messenger blocked his path."You weren't called."
Down to earth, he assented, the messenger relaxed."Good, you understand."
"Doesn't mean I'm not needed!" Naseem lightly blew him out of the way.
"That's literally what it means!" The messenger ran after him.
The messenger was hovering behind the uncalled, although the hall was vast the two uninvited halted by the doorway.
The girls carelessly stood before a white young man sat on the throne whose expression wasn't welcoming.
"Prince Arsh? Jamilah was befuddled.
"Where is the king?" Rajani was direct.
"My parents are deceased." His blue eyes were lifeless.
"Was it murder? Poison? Betrayal? Revenge?" The pessimistic twin theorized.
"Old age." The prince polished his crown."You are my only hope, I need your powers."
"We're aware." The bubbly twin concluded."The Arkav plans to annihilate Safi."
"Who?" Arsh whispered to his subordinates who exchanged glances and whispered back.
"Sachar, the child of the prophecy."
"The man who wishes to set the world aflame and blow the ashes!"
"Ooh, that dude!" The prince did an ok sign to them, then turned to face the chosen ones."Screw him! save my girlfriend."
His subordinates facepalm in sync, whilst everyone else barely contained their frustration.
"He is vile, your highness!" The bubbly girl rebuked, the royal retorted.
"How many crazy maniacs tried to end the world over the centuries?"
"Countless?" The goth guessed.
"Five thousand rounding it up!" The youngest brother yelled, accidentally raising attention to himself."Pardon me."
"None of them succeeded, right?" Arsh looked at his subordinates who promptly nodded.
"That could change!" The siblings objected.
"Do you see any fire?" The royal scoffed.
"No, still-" They agreed, sourly. Whilst the royal cut them off.
"Prophecy or whatnot, if he truly wanted we wouldn't be fine right now."
"He obviously has the intention to do it! Otherwise he wouldn't be on the run." The youngest inferred.
"What would you do in case somebody chased you?" The prince asked.
Since no one did, the messenger delivered the answer."It's obvious, run away."
"Point proven, now rescue my queen." Arsh clapped, urging their exit.
"Didn't she ditch you?" Naseem raised an eyebrow, jubilant.
"Nonsense, she's playing hard to get!" The prince looked suspiciously at the messenger and guards."Who told you that?"
"It was the gossip of the town." Jamilah overstated.
"Those peasants!" The prince was furious."Teach them a lesson later!"
"Have you lost your head? We're the chosen ones, not your lackeys." Rajani defied.
"Obey or you'll be the ones losing your heads." The royal glared at the troublesome trio.
"How can we? You haven't said how she looks, your highness."
"Perfect, that's her." Arsh signaled, his subordinates ousted them.
"His description sucks. It's impossible to track a generic woman." The down to earth boy reasoned.
"Not gonna. It's too much work." The bubbly girl rebuffed.
"Why? It's stupid, though it's an order." He corroborated.
"Is there "pushover" written on our foreheads?" Rajani rejected.
"Ignoring Najla is one thing, but you can't ignore royalty." Naseem counseled.
"What can he do? We're invincible, the chosen ones after all." The bubbly girl refuted.
"We're not wasting our time." The goth was adamant.
"Neither are you spending it to honor your destinies." The youngest coldly remarked.
"It'll come true regardless of what we do." The blonde affirmed, melancholic.
"Stop meddling so much when you weren't even chosen!" The goth was incandescent."This is between me and Jamilah!"
"Whatever! I don't care!" The down to earth boy vanished, concealing his embitterment.
"Rajani, you shouldn't be harsh." Her twin suggested." Naseem has no idea what fulfilling our destiny means."
"Don't tell him!" She shouted, underlying her despair.
"I could never, I wouldn't stand to see him desolated." The bubbly girl was fidgeting.
"We're all he has." The pessimistic girl bit her lower lip."…for now."
They're always belittling me just because I'm younger… I'll prove it to them!
"The wind may be invisible, however it has a strong presence." Fired up, the boy infiltrated himself in Safi's intelligence facility to uncover the woman's whereabouts, the trading center.
'Did you hear about the missing concubine?'
'The prince is willing to pay half of the treasury for whoever returns her!'
'You're kidding?! Is she that pretty?'
'Maybe it's her dazzling light brown skin.'
'Apparently, he was hypnotized by her green eyes.'
'Wasn't it by her curves?'
'I'm sure it was her hair, he's crazy for brunettes!'
…It can't be a coincidence. the brunette who's somehow connected with the child of the prophecy.
That woman is the missing concubine? This is bad!
If that brunette is here, he's also… the Arkav is pinning for Safi!
I have to warm my sisters!
Naseem abruptly ran towards the temple, the twins didn't notice him getting close due to his habitual quiet steps.
"Shouldn't we apologize, Jani? We hurt him."
"What for, Milah? He 's too soft! He'll forgive us anyway."
"Our baby bro is almost an idiot!"
"Almost? He is an idiot, a good idiot."
"We should watch our mouths, he's silent like a ghost."
I'll confirm it first.
