I made a courageous move on my birthday (which was June 10th) and went on a last-minute Tinder date. I thought it went well; We chatted about out writing accomplishments (she's had several papers published), shared fun stories, and she even served me cake. When leaving, I asked if she wanted to do it again and she seemed so enthusiastic about saying yes. We hugged and I went on my way.
I sent you my number on the Tinder app and waited. And waited... and waited...
And low and behold, the very next morning I was unmatched. It really bummed me out for a few days but it was more than made up for later on. Anyway, I wanted to share a quick, funny thought I had about the whole ordeal. If we can't laugh at ourselves, who can we laugh at?
(Speaking of, I showed her this comic and she actually laughed out loud at a few of them. Hopefully she doesn't see this....)
What happens when you mix mental illness, THC and infinite amount of time to think? That's the heart of Thought Lottery.
Thought Lottery is a dramatic retelling of the life of the artist, but more so, it's his way of processing his own thoughts. His thoughts are like a lottery; You don't know what you're gonna get, but sometimes you're a winner.
