It was that fleeting hour of the day when the moon and sun are high and bright at the same time. Like many things in my life, these summer nights wouldn't last much longer. I sat quietly on a bench at the park in New York, contemplating on where we're going next. My mom moved us around a lot, and I don't understand how we afford it since she can barely keep food in the fridge. And she never tells us where we're going next, we play a guessing game in the car every time; "we" being me, and my two younger brothers.

My name is Jack, my younger brother is Jeremy and our youngest brother is James. Mom loves "J" names, huh? I'm 15 years old, Jeremy is 14 and James is 12. James and I are bookworms, while Jeremy is the sports-type.

Anyway, our time in New York was fun, though more expensive than any of our other places. We've been all over the country, it's hard to believe we still have places in the US we haven't been. Let's just hope mom doesn't get bored of this country and move us to Canada or something.

And maybe in this new place we'll see one of our old friends, that doesn't happen too often. I've become "shy" and I'll try not to make friends at our new place because I know I'll never see them again after a couple months.

I like staring at the sky because it's the only thing that's constant with moving around a bunch. And I always wonder what the sky will look like in our new place.

I hope it's above a lake or ocean. I always love staring at those scenes.
