The Dark Knight Arc Begins.

Chapter 13: The Dark Knight Rises

(Karma lies down on a couch with his body facing upwards and his neck dangling down the end.)

Karma: (I'm so bored I could die right now. That bastard said not to go out and there's nothing to do. Huh?)

(Karma sees Leone running out of the base with a worried look on her face and decides to follow her to relieve boredom.)

Leone: I have to get there quick.

Karma: Where're you going?

Leone: There's been a breach at the border of our realm all Saiya that responded have all gone silent.

Karma: I'm coming with. (Since she's stronger than Tera and Yuri, this should also be a tougher mission. Monarch Level huh? I'm coming.)

Leone: Let's go.

(On their way, Leone rides a horse while Karma runs beside her.)

Karma: (This horse ain't that bad. He's faster than any Machine on Earth.) Wait, what kind of people do you fight at the border?)

Leone: Well people and creatures from other realms literally.

Karma: So which realm's invading?

Leone: From the initial reports looks like the Power Realm. We constantly have the borders of our realm under surveillance to prevent any invasions due to the enormous size of Etherion.

(As they get there, they find lots of dead Saiya. Some frozen over and others crushed.)

Karma: (Who're these losers?)

Leone: Something's coming.

Karma: ....

(The space before them begins to crack open and Leone draws his sword)

Leone: Flame Emperor's Armour.

(Leone's sword changes and along with it his armour)

Karma: That's Cool.

Leone: This is my Innate Ability. It allows me to change my armour based on my Sword's state. So the sword basically dictates the armour. (Did Karma always talk this much? Is it me or has he become a lot friendlier over the past few weeks?)

[Innate ability: this is the first ability manifested after Awakening (comprehension of Hexen or it's derivatives). It usually dictates a person's compatibility. Like those who have an innate fire ability tend to focus their development and strength towards flame like elements. There are also cases of having multiple Innate Abilities on awakening. Leone has two innate abilities; the first is Sword which changes form and her also transforms her armour in the process. Her other innate ability is Water's blessing. She cannot be drowned by water and can walk on top of it without sinking. There are also cases where the Innate Ability doesn't awaken immediately after awakening but rather needs a certain stimulation to awaken.]

(Two people come out of the crack in Space. They're both covered in Black Armour and holding Black Longswords. The one in front with his matching pair of black hair and eyes, wearing earrings and looking more intimidating than the other behind him. This one had a tattoo of a small cross underneath his right eye and had a more well kept hair and face compared to the former)

Leone: (Their mana levels are way above mine). Here they come.

(Both enemies attack but Leone and Karma block them.)

Leone: Fire blade works.

(Leone strikes with numerous flame attacks but they have no effect.)

Leone: (My attacks have no effect. Karma won't be able to keep up with....)

(Karma casually punches his opponent in the face and laughs it off.)

Karma {Excited}: You'll have to do a lot better than that.

(Karma charges in without planning to attack and gets hit back.)

Karma: That's how it's done. Neo Force.

(All his chains break and he immediately gets back into the fight.)

Leone: (He's not afraid. He's actually confident).

Gray: You're quite confident to be distracted.

(Gray attacks but Leone changes his sword and evades.)

Leone: Wind Emperor's Armour.

Gray: (So he chose a form that has both speed and protection from the attack.)

Leone: (I don't have time to worry about him).

(Leone attacks Gray and they both continue their fight.)

Gray: Before I kill you, I would like to know your name at least, I am Gray, First Lieutenant of the Black General's army.

Leone: By my code of chivalry, I must respond. I am Leone Braveheart.

Gray: Braveheart?

(Karma's opponent sticks his Sword into the ground and introduces himself.)

Gram: Since we're doing introductions, I'm Gram, Second Lieutenant of the Black General's Army.

Karma: Do I have to tell you my name?

Gram: Follow the Knights code at least.

Karma: I'm no Knight but anyways...

(Karma punches Gram on the Nose.)

Karma: I'm Karma.

Gram: (This little shit...) Wait, Braveheart? That means he's... Gravity fall.

(Karma falls flat on the floor)

Karma: What's this? (My body feels a lot heavier.)

Gram: I just increased your gravity one hundred times.

Karma: Good but...

(Karma struggles until he gets up and hits gram on the nose again.

Gram is surprised by the ineffectiveness of his technique while holding his bleeding nose.)

Gram: My gravity doesn't affect him? (Why the hell does he keep hitting my nose?)

Gray: I think the General would like to see you.

(Gray talks to someone through ear comms)

Gray: General, I think you'll want to see this.

(The ground suddenly shakes apart violently and the density of Mana that floods out the Spatial distortion choked Leone where he stood. A man in armour walks out of the hole and Gram kicks Karma away before bowing. His overbearing pressure shakes Leone down to the bone. The amounts of Mana he was radiating was dominating the entire space as each of his footsteps shook the caused tremors across the vast land. Leone struggles to get a look at his face and was frozen the moment he saw him. Black hair and his completely blackened eyes and red pupils with stains of black scars around his neck and face.)

Leone: (Just who is this man?)

Gray and Gram: General.

General: This better be worth my.... Leona.

Gray and Gram: (Leona, isn't that a girl's name?)

[Leone is now revealed to be a girl. But who is this intimidating figure that just appeared before them and why is his connection to Leona?]

Chapter 14: The Sword of Destruction, Karma??

Leona: (He knows my real name?) Who are you? (This voice, this Mana it's all familiar)

(The Man takes off his armour revealing his entire face and he smirks towards Leona.)

Leona: It can't be....Sir Lancelot. (How do I know his name?)

Lancelot: Long time no see, King of Knights. Well, I guess you aren't the King right now. Hahaha.

Leona: Traitor.

Lancelot: I have no time to deal with you. Kill her.

(Leona is infuriated and charges straight towards Lancelot but Gray and Gram block her path and push her back. They launch a counter before Leona regains her balance aiming to finish her off.

Karma instantly appears between them and Leone and blocks both swords with his hands.)

Karma: Where do you guys think you're going? Neo Force: 5% burst.

(Karma takes on both Gray and Gram while Leona attacks Lancelot.)

Leona: Cursed Emperor's Armour.

(Leona attacks with full force but her attack is stopped by the dense Mana surrounding Lancelot. Her transformation wears off and she assumedls her normal appearance.)

Lancelot: To go as far as using transformation magic, how pitiful. Is that all you can do?

Leona: (Just from the force he's emitting? No, his dense Mana's forming a shield that won't even let me get close to him. How strong is he?)

Lancelot: You're still pretending to be a man in this life also, how ridiculous. I guess, I didn't get to fight or spar with you one on one before. Let me show you why, I was the most powerful knight of the Round table.

(Lancelot releases a bit of his Mana and blows Leona away.)

Leona: I'll kill you myself, you traitor.

Lancelot: Come, I'll let you approach me this time.

(Leona attacks but Lancelot easily brushes off all attacks with one hand.)

Lancelot: Is that all you can do?

Leona: (I need more power) Giant armour.

(She attacks but Lancelot doesn't even block. After the attack hits him, he's unfazed. Leona is left in a daze. Lancelot looks down on her with disgust.

Meanwhile, Karma continues his battle)

Gram: You just dug your grave kid.

(Karma keeps on fighting both opponents and shows no sign of slowing down.

Gray: (Is it just me or is this kid actually showing signs of improvement?)

Gram: (He's perfectly reading our movements and moving accordingly like he knows our next moves before we even think about them.)

Karma: What's wrong? I thought I dug my grave.

(The fight continues and Karma's physical abilities keep increasing. Karma starts getting more and more enticed by the fight.)

Karma: More, more, more.

Gray: (What's with this kid? He's holding his own against both of us.)

Gram: (But it's the same as last time, he lacks even the basics of formal training. All his attacks are meant to deal lethal blows to his opponent or to taunt them into attacking continuously. Is he the talented type that doesn't train or has he never had someone to train him before?)

(At this time, Lancelot had grown tired of Leona's childish games.)

Lancelot: How pathetic.

(Lancelot draws his sword and the force sends Leona flying.)

Leona: What power?

Lancelot: A weakling like you stands no chance against me. Just pulling my sword against the like of you is an insult to me. But I'll at least execute you as a King, since you held the title once before.

(Lancelot raises his sword and strikes Leona's sword shattering it to pieces.)

Leona: (I put all of my power into defense yet it was no use. This is the most powerful Knight.)

(Leona starts to back away from Lancelot as her body shivers uncontrollably.)

Lancelot: Never forget this power even in your next reincarnation, Arthuria Pendragon.

(As soon as she hears the name, memories of another person's life begins to run through her mind. Leona is left confused trying to figure out who the memories belonged to.)

Lancelot: Looks like your sudden contact with me is making your Heroic Spirit awaken but it comes to an end here.

(Lancelot raises his sword to finish Leona. She tries to move but she couldn't control her fear stricken self.)

Leona: (I can't move. Is this fear?)

Lancelot: Huh? You're in luck.

(He reaches out and the space around him warps)

Leona: A hidden Dimension.

Lancelot: It was here after all.

Leona: What are you up to, Sir Lancelot?

Lancelot: The sword of ancients said to rival or surpass even Excalibur. The Sword that killed Arthur Pendragon, the Sword of Destruction, Karma.

Leona: Why would you want such an evil sword? All Knights searched for that Sword to seal it away but it was never found.

Lancelot: Evil or not, it will give me the edge I need over Excalibur and Leon Braveheart, or should I say, Arthur Pendragon.

Leona: That's why you're doing all this?

Lancelot: I lost to Arthur not because I was weaker but because of Excalibur's Holy light. If I have a sword that can match Excalibur, I'll be able to defeat even Arthur Pendragon.

(Lancelot goes through the portal and appears in a tomb. Leona picks up the pieces of her sword and runs after him.)

Gray: Looks like the General found it.

Gram: Let's clean up this trash then.

(Gray attacks Karma but as Karma tries to counter Gram alters his gravity and Gray hits him.)

Karma: (They're working as a unit now. Leona's also gone with that guy. I should stop playing around then. Since he seems stronger than these two weaklings.)

(Gray attacks again and he and Karma exchange blows till Gram interferes giving Gray the upper hand.)

Gray: Gram, let's finish this.

Gram: Gravity zone. Movement is impossible in this 10000x gravity.

Karma: Ten thousand? (Why's the number so random?)

(Gray runs in to finish off Karma.)

Gray: Cold Slash.

(Gray swings his sword and stops in front of Karma)

Gram: I guess that settles it.

(As Gram turns his back to leave.)

Karma: Yeah, it does.

(Gray collapses and Gram tries to grasp the situation in his shocked state.)

Gram: (In that split second, he let himself get cut and broke Gray's sword, then he punched him right after. This guy's crazy.)
