Now, before I get into this whole life story type stuff, let me start by saying that my life was not the most interesting thing on the planet. Now that I'm a demon, or person possessed by one, my life is so much more fun! I admit I miss my old life sometimes and I miss my family but who I don't miss is the son of a bitch who began my new form of torture. That being my eldest brother.

Let me start from the beginning.

I grew up in a small farmhouse during the 30s to 40s, yes I'm that old but I don't age. I had a great family throughout my childhood up until the incident. I had a beautiful mother, a loving and caring father, and great older brothers. I had three brothers. Their name's were John, Benjamin, and Zack; he was the oldest of those three. Zack is also the reason I'm even telling this story.

For those who don't know the 30s to 40s is when the conjuring happened. I was growing up in a time when if something was off with someone and there was no explanation as to what the issue was, people would presume they were possessed by the devil. This also means I was around ouija boards and priests rather often.

The day It happened was calm and quiet. My siblings and I were playing around outside the house with Benjamin's model cars he got for his birthday not too long ago. My father was inside waiting for my mother to come back from wherever she had gone. When she came back home I noticed she had what looked like a briefcase in her hand. At the time I had no idea what it was and just thought it was something for my father.

She went inside the house, and my father came out and headed off to work without the briefcase. Seeing that, I went to the window and peeped in from outside to see what my mother was doing. When I looked inside I saw her sitting at the dinner table with a ouija board. I forgot to mention that one of my mother's friends was here at the house already and was now sitting at the table with her. I watched them move this strange disk-like thing across the board and my mother got somewhat emotional. I didn't understand but now I do. She was communicating with her dad, my grandfather.

My grandfather passed away when I was five years old so I didn't remember much of him but all I knew from stories my mother told me made me believe he was a nice guy. I mean he must've been a good guy, my mom was crying over him at that moment. My mother never really got over his death and when we did talk about him she'd always get teary eyed.

I kept watching for a little while until she stopped and came outside to sit on the porch with her friend. Before she saw me by the window I ran back over to my brothers who were still playing around with the cars. "Where did you just run off to?" Benjamin asked me as he passed a car to Zack.

"Nowhere, I was just going to see what ma was doing," I explained to him and sat down in the grass. My eldest brother then looked at me with a curious expression as he tossed a car back and forth between his hands. He kept looking at me like this for another minute till he gave the car to John.

"Was ma sitting at the table with a board in front of her?" He asked me while crossing his arms. I looked up at him and nodded in response. "Did she also have a strangely shaped thing on top?" I nodded again, not knowing at the time what my brother was planning to do with this information. "Well then, ma bought herself a ouji board."

"A what did you say?" Benjamin questioned with a ridiculously goofy puzzled look. John shared this confusion as well and the two gathered closer to our eldest brother. My dear brother then went on to explain that, that thing lets people talk to ghosts and those who died. Of course, my two brothers reacted with "ghosts aren't real" and "you lost your mind brother." I on the other hand, with my naive and young self at the time, believed this.

My brother took advantage of this newfound curiosity and began to explain what interesting and horrible things can come out of using one of these boards. These things he told were intriguing to me, building up a desire to want to use it. "When mom is out hanging the laundry later why don't you go try it out?" he suggested to me. The biggest smile came across my face as I agreed to this oh-so-brilliant idea. My brother had the smuggest look on his face while he headed inside with my other two siblings joining him.

Later on in the day, I was sitting in my room reading my favorite book, The Little Engine That Could, when I noticed that my mother and siblings were outside with the laundry basket. I hastily shut my book and hurried out of my room to the dining room table. The board was still on the table so I sat myself down and tried to use it the same way I saw my mother use it. I began to talk, asking if anyone was there. There were no responses out loud of course, but the small disk on the board started to shift slightly.

Excitement and awe started to build up inside me since it seemed what my brother was talking about was true. I asked again if someone was there and in a split second, it moved over the word yes that was on the board. For those who don't know the ouji board has the alphabet written on it, yes and no, numbers, and goodbye.

When I saw that it went over yes a huge smile grew on my face. I kept asking questions like: "are you nice?", "do I know you?", and "can we be friends?" Most of the questions I asked came out as yes, except for those last two. My young mind thought it would be nice to have a ghost friend and was upset that this ghost didn't want to be mine.

"So we're not friends?" I asked disappointedly. The disk moved over to no. "Fine, you can leave then." Right as I was about to get up the disked moved over to no again. I was confused by this since it didn't want to be my friend but yet it didn't want to go. So what did it want? I asked it that exact question and the response was chilling, even my child-self.

Very slowly it started to spell. W-A-N-T-Y-O-U. Want you. The disk then shot across the room and the feeling of pressure was on my neck. It was as if someone was choking me. That pressure then surrounded my whole neck and my body was slammed against the wall. Absolute terror washed over me as I gasped for air and tried my best to shout out for my mother, who was still outside with my siblings.

Chairs were flung across the room, picture frames were shattered and the sounds of whispering and murmuring could be heard. My face was turning red from my throat being squeezed and a burning sensation began to stir in my chest. I shut my eyes tight hoping it would all go away as if it was a bad dream, but it wasn't. As I opened my eyes I was met with a dark shadowy figure with red and purple eyes, no face, but a horrific smile going from ear to ear. "You are mine now. We'll become friends real soon," said the figure as it then vanished.

The chaos in the room stopped, and I was dropped down to the ground. I could finally get a full breath of air and yell out for my mother. "Ma! Help!"

My mother came bursting through the door and rushed over to me. She picked me up and held me close to her chest. "My God, what happened in here?!" she somewhat shouted out in absolute worry.

"I-I played with it! I'm so sorry ma!" I admitted as I cried into her arms. My brothers then came running into the house and saw the state it was in. Benjamin and John came closer to my mother and I while Zack stood in place. His face was sickly pale, eyes wide, and filled with guilt and horror. It's his fault that this happened to me and he knew it too.

Days and months would go by after this and I would slowly start to change. My eyes changed to the same color as that beings. Ma took me to a doctor but had no clue as to what it was or what to do. Not only was I changing physically but mentally and emotionally as well. I would become aggressive or hostile when upset. I'd attack my brothers from time to time, even go as far as threatening their life.

I eventually developed tattoos of symbols on my collarbone and back that I didn't understand. Then my hands changed from a normal skin tone to a deep red and ombre down my arm to my elbow. My family was reaching their limits with me and what was happening to me. Ma took me to a priest to do an exorcism on me because she believed I was possessed by the ouji board.

The priest did so but failed. It was the most painful experience I've ever felt in my entire life. It was as if someone was trying to tear my heart out of my chest. 'No matter how hard they try I won't leave you. We'll be real close soon.' That is what the voice in my head kept telling me after every exorcism they tried.

My parents gave up on it eventually and tried to adapt to the "new" me. But that didn't last long. One night during supper, Zack started to tease me about my new look. Specifically my eyes. He kept teasing me about how weird, creepy, and bizarre they are. During the entire supper, he wouldn't let it go, but I had just about enough of it.

Unknown amounts of rage were building up inside of me until it couldn't be contained, but that rage wasn't my own. Without thinking, I stood up on my chair and hurled myself across the table at my brother. Zack was knocked back out of his seat and my hands grasped his neck, squeezing tightly. I watched my older brother's face turn red through the windows in my eyes. Absent-mindedly, my grasp around him kept getting tighter.

I was completely dazed by the rage that I didn't notice or hear my family yelling, screaming, and fighting to get me off him. My father was eventually able to get me away from him and held me down so I wouldn't do anything else. Ma held Zack close as he breathed heavily to gain back the oxygen I cut off. John and Benjamin were hiding behind them crying and shaking in terror. My siblings are tuff and hardly anything scares them. Seeing them cry and hide was astonishing.

"That's it! You can no longer stay here!" My father yelled at me as he picked me up, carrying me to the door.

"No, pa wait! It's not my fault! That wasn't me, it was the ghost!"

"ENOUGH! We're not putting up with this any longer!" He shouted in my face while opening the door. Tears streamed out of my mismatched eyes down my cheeks as I resisted my father. Pass the tears my eyes met with Zacks and realization came to me. It was his fault. When it happened I didn't know who to blame but in that moment I figured out who. He wanted something bad to happen to me. That day he told me to use the board was him hoping I'd become possessed. He caused this.

This realization turned into a feeling of betrayal and hurt. "This is his fault! He told me to use it! THIS IS YOUR FAULT ZACK! ALL YOUR FAULT! I WILL GET BACK AT YOU!" I shouted at the top of my lungs to him as my father then threw me out the door and slammed it. For a couple of minutes, I stayed at the door knocking, yelling to let me in, and apologizing. I eventually walked away and went in a random direction.

Days passed into weeks, weeks into months, and months into years. I changed physically, became stronger, and smarter, and learned to survive in inhumane ways without people. Sanity was also slipping from me because the one thing that didn't change was that voice in my head.

"I told you we would be buddies soon, Rimmon."
