Now that the coven was officially spilt there was a lot that needed to be handled. mainly finding out who our ally's Really were. 

my personal list was short. I had Jackson my mom and dad, Nathan, Chris, Sarah and Emily. but that also included both Nathan and Chris's packs there was an unfortunate war coming and it was all because of an unborn baby.

"On the day of night a power born, one that destroys, all of its own. mix of monster and magic it's power untold. if you don't destroy it, it will destroy all that you know" I said aloud it was the prophecy Lora said just before she died. I couldn't stop thinking about it. sometimes it made me question if it was actually a good idea to keep it. was that wrong to think. to think that I might one day regret the choice of keeping it.

it made me sick to think that I might actually be thinking that, thinking that my own baby could actually be a monster. but at the same time it also made me wonder what my baby would be like. would it be a boy or girl. would it grow up to be kind, or a bully. if it was a boy would he enjoy playing sports or running with other wolves or magic. and if it was a girl what would she like, maybe the same things. and when she grew up what would be her sexual orientation?

would she date boys or girls, could she one day become trans or non-binary? I was so curious how my baby would grow up but in a way I didn't care. I didn't care cause as long as my baby grew up happy and healthy then everything would be fine.

but I also knew that the chances of it growing up like a normal wolf or witch were impossible. as long as people and wolves and witches and even the occasional vampire were hunting it, my baby could never grow up normal. the difficult choices I would one day have to make... I could tell that they were already made for me. 

was a persons fate truly sealed or was there a way to change it? could I change it? 

"Amber?" Sarah said snapping me back to reality. "sorry I was stuck in my thoughts" I said. "it ok" are you alright?" she asked "yeah I'm fine" I replied. "Amber" she said my name as if knowing I was lying. "talk to me" she said. "Sarah I'm fine really" I said standing up. "I can smell that lie from a mile away" Nathan said entering the room.

"shut up" I said glaring at him. "Amber your aloud to feel you know that right" he stated. "of course I know I'm aloud to feel Nathan I'm not stupid" I replied. "then tell the truth" Nathan said glaring back. "do you really think no one noticed when your powers took over after you became overwhelmed" Nathan said. "Shut up!" I told him once again"WHY CANT YOU JUST BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF!" he yelled "I SAID SHUT UP!" I yelled then he went flying across the room. 

I began to breathe heavy, shocked at what I did "God you throw wolves around the room a lot don't you?" Sarah asked sarcastically trying to lighten the mood. 

"oh God" I said falling back a little bit catching myself on the back of the couch as Nathan stood up. my head began to spin to the point I couldn't stand up without holding in to the couch. "Amber what's wrong?" Nathan asked concerned. "I-I don't know I've.... I just suddenly became really dizzy" I said as everything went black and I heard a thud as I could feel myself hitting the floor.

"Oh my Goddess Amber" Sarah said as both Nathan and Sarah ran to Amber. "Amber... amber please wake up" Nathan said trying to lightly shake her awake. 

he then picked her up and carefully ran her down to where his car was then carefully put her in the back seat. Sarah was already in the driver seat and he didn't feel like there was anytime to argue about who the faster driver was. so he quickly got into the passenger seat and Sarah sped off. she was obviously the crazier and much faster driver. 

when they got to the hospital they pulled up to the emergency doors. Nathan jumped out of the car before it was fully stopped, and ran inside. "Please help My ex is pregnant and she fainted!" he said quickly to a nurse. "Grab a stretcher and a doctor!" the nurse said turning to another nurse who nodded at her. "Where is she" the nurse asked turning back to Nathan. "This way" he said leading her out to the car.

there stood Sarah next to the back door of the car that was already open. the nurse carefully leaned over the unconscious Amber to feel her pulse. it was beating extremely fast. after a moment a doctor and 2 other nurses came out with a stretcher. 

they carefully got her out of the car and onto the stretcher. then ran her inside as Sarah and Nathan just stood there in shock. "go inside I'll meet you in there after I park the car" Sarah said I almost a whisper. "I'll call her family" he replied. he didn't mind calling her family for her. after all they were practically his family at one point to.

what made Nathan mad wasn't the fact that he felt he needed to call them, it was the fact that he would also have to call Chris, who was both is neighboring and rival alpha. 

Nathan pulled out his phone and pulled up Ambers mother's contact in his phone. Emily Lewis was what her number was under. he then hit the button to call her. it rang a few times but she finally answered. "Ah Nathan, I hope it's important desr I'm kinda busy" Emily ambers mother said slightly Coldly. she has never treated him the same after he almost killed amber Infront of everyone. 

"Ambers in the hospital" he said in a neutral tone "what" Emily said now sounding worried. "What do you mean what happened?" she asked. "just get here" he said then hung up. he felt bad for talking to her like that but he wasn't exactly sure what to say. he felt completely at fault for her being there, and he still had more calls to make after all Ambers mother was only the first of many.
