As the ship took off into the vastness of space, Aurea was filled with a mix of fear and excitement for the unknown adventure ahead. She trusted that Leo had made the right decision. After traveling for a long time, they arrived at a planet far away. The ship took her to a planet named Earth, where she decided to hide in plain sight and blend in with the local inhabitants.
After talking with the locals, Aurea discovered that Earth was not as advanced as her home planet. Its technology was primitive compared to what she was used to. She also quickly realized that its years were shorter. Earth had been around for less time than her home planet, which had existed for countless centuries.
Despite this, Aurea found that Earth had its unique charm. She marveled at the beauty of the planet and the diversity of its people. She was fascinated by their customs, languages, and way of life.
Aurea had been living on Earth for years now, trying to blend in with the locals and learn more about their way of life. when she encountered police officers. not wanting to draw attention to herself. The officers noticed something strange: Aurea had no identification. They decided to bring the girl to the station for further questioning.
the officers were suspicious. They couldn't find any information about her in their system. It was as if she didn't exist.
After hours of questioning, the officers realized that they needed to take Aurea into custody. As Aurea was taken into custody, a deep sense of anxiety and unease set in. She knew that everything she had worked so hard to conceal was coming to the surface. She had lived among Earthlings for years, but they were a very different breed from her people. Aurea knew that the authorities would not understand her motivations, and that added to her discomfort.
The officials processed her and included her in the foster care system without knowing that she was over 500 years old (in human terms). She refrained from disclosing this information as well as the fact that she wasn't from Earth, for fear of potential risks.
She also felt a twinge of regret for not having thought through her plan more carefully. Running away and hiding had not seemed like such a bad idea at first, but it had become increasingly challenging to pull off as time went on. She wondered how she could have been so short-sighted.
Aurea's thoughts then veered towards home, and she longed for it with all her heart. The memories came flooding back: the familiar scents of the flowers, the warm sun on her skin, the sound of her family's voices... She missed her family and her people, her friends so much and wished desperately that she could be back with them right now.
But Aurea remained a practical woman at heart, even throughout this tumultuous experience. She knew that she had to keep her head down and play her cards right. Revealing her true identity would bring nothing but trouble, so she resolved to keep her secrets close. Her thoughts were focused on finding a way out of this mess, and making sure that she could return home safely one day.
Aurea went to a foster family of five, consisting of a 17-year-old boy, 12-year-old twin boys, and their parents. Upon her arrival, the family welcomed her with open arms, but Aurea could only manage a fake smile. The pain she had endured in the past had lifted any emotion from her face.
As she settled into her new home, Aurea found it hard to connect with her foster family. She appreciated their kindness and warmth, but she couldn't help but feel distant.
Her foster family tried to include her in everything they did, but Aurea often found herself lost in her thoughts. She longed for her home planet and missed her people terribly. She couldn't help but think of her mother. The memory of the day her planet was invaded and her mother dead in her arms still haunted her. It pained her heart deeply to remember that day, and the thought that she would never see her mother again brought tears to her eyes.
what hurt Aurea, even more, was the fact that her siblings had been taken away from her. She didn't know where they were or if they were even alive. The thought of not being able to protect them made her feel helpless, and she longed for the day when they could be reunited.
She would often sit out in the backyard, gazing up at the stars, wondering how her life had turned out this way.
As weeks went by, Aurea's foster brother James noticed that she was acting strangely. She hardly ever spoke at school and spent most of her time lost in thought. And every night, he would hear her sneaking out of her room through the window. One day after school, James decided to talk to her about it.
"Aurea, I've noticed you haven't been yourself lately," he started gently. "Is there something going on?"
Aurea took a deep breath and looked at James thoughtfully for a moment before replying, "You noticed. I'm going through some personal things, but I'll be okay. I appreciate your concern, though."
James persisted, "Are you sure? You haven't been talking to anyone at school, and you've been sneaking out every night. Is everything okay?"
Aurea nodded and said, "I understand your worries, but I'm handling things the best way I can. I promise I'm not getting into any trouble. Thank you for checking up on me, though."
James nodded, "Okay if you ever want to talk about anything, know that I'm here for you. No matter what."
Aurea felt grateful for the support James was offering her and smiled. "Thank you, that means a lot to me."
She knew that she couldn't reveal her true identity as an alien from another planet to James. She reminded herself that she was in hiding on Earth, and she had to do her best to blend in and not draw any attention to herself. Even though she missed her home planet terribly, she realized that she had a responsibility to keep her mission a secret.
Aurea found herself spending more time with twins Ethan and Evan. They were around the same age as her twin siblings, Stella and Roman. Being around Ethan and Evan reminded Aurea of her own siblings, and it made her feel a little less alone on Earth.
Even though she couldn't fully open up to Ethan and Evan, she found solace in their company. They would play games together and sometimes just hang out and talk about their favorite movies or TV shows.
James had long been curious about Aurea's secretive behavior. So one night, he decided to follow her, keeping his distance as she made her way into the woods. Despite feeling uneasy, James continued to trail Aurea until they arrived at what he thought was an abandoned cabin. But as Aurea approached the door, it suddenly slid open, revealing a sleek, futuristic spaceship.
James's jaw nearly hit the ground as he watched Aurea step inside with ease, her eyes twinkling with excitement. Before he knew it, he found himself following her through the ship's narrow corridors, marveling at the advanced technology and strange creatures he saw along the way.
As they reached the cockpit, Aurea turned to face James, a sly smile on her face. "So you followed me all this way," she said, her tone both amused and impressed. "I like people who are brave enough to venture where they aren't supposed to go."
James gulped nervously, unsure of what to expect next. But as Aurea took the controls and started up the ship's engines, he felt a thrill of excitement course through him. He couldn't believe he was actually in space, hurtling through the stars.
"James," Aurea began, her voice wavering with emotion. "The person I was looking for is my guard. He sent me away to protect me from war a few years ago and I never saw or heard from him since. So I decided to use the skills I know to fix this ship and use AI to help he find him, he promised he would take care of my people for me, I need to make sure they are well."
Tears welled up in her eyes as she spoke but she quickly composed herself. "And I found them." she continued her voice now more determined.
"Of course, Aurea," James replied, his expression softened. "I understand why finding your guard was so important to you. It's a noble and brave thing to do, to want to protect those you care about. I'm glad you found him, and I'm here to help you in any way I can." He smiled reassuringly at her. "Let's work together to make sure your people are safe and secure."
“No,” Aurea said “you’ll go home right away, it’s going to be dangerous, I’m not just going to help with some words, I'm going to lead an army “
"Aurea," James said with a determined look on his face. "I understand the danger that lies ahead, but I don't want to leave you alone to fight this battle. I may not be a skilled warrior, but I can offer my help in any way possible. Maybe other tasks need to be done that I can assist with or support your troops in other ways. Please let me stay and help in any way I can, even if it's just doing some chores."
Aurea looked at him with surprise and admiration. She hadn't expected someone who had just met her to show such courage and determination. "Thank you, James," she said with a smile. "Your willingness to help means a lot to me. I could use all the help I can get right now. Let's see how we can put your skills to use."
