A lot of people thought the fried fish scales Ichigo was eating were coins and that's funnier than what it actually was.
If you descale a rather large scaled fish, if it's a certain fish, you may be lucky and have tasty fried scales. ususally you are not lucky and they are flavorless or disgusting. Ichigo was lucky.
