I brought him a simple set of patient clothes and placed them on the bed. Then I said to Myung, "Stand up and turn your back on me." 

He complied without words, waiting for me to release his straitjacket back straps. I untied them one by one and took them off. 

Then I grabbed his arm gently and made him turn around. As my gaze fell on his newly formed scars on the pale skin of his arms and belly, I felt a deep wave of sadness along with guilt. 

I picked up the shirt and held it up for him to put it on as I sighed. Then I carefully but firmly guided his arms through the sleeves... 

When I was tying up his shirt's straps, I saw Myung blushing and staring at the floor, probably embarrassed and uncomfortable with my assistance. 

I wasn't sure about the reason, maybe because he's gay or just belongs to the shy types...

"Now it's done!" I grinned at him and stroked his hair lightly.

He stared blankly at the pants still on the bed. "Wanna also help with that? If you don't have the energy because of the sedatives, I'll do it." I asked calmly as I picked it up from the bed. 

"NO! I CAN WEAR IT ALONE!" He said shyly and snatched the pants from my grasp. 

I turned away and said, "Okay, I'll look away so you can wear it with ease." 

From his breathing, I could tell that he was struggling with taking the previous one off and putting it on quickly. I was pretty sure he was dizzy, and his body was numb due to his medicine's side effects. However, I didn't want to scare him with any reckless action.

As Myung suddenly stumbled and bumped into my back, I held his waist hurriedly to prevent him from falling. " Myung, just lean on me to not fall. My eyes are closed and I'll support you with my arm to wear it comfortably..." 

"Okay~" He replied shyly.

I bent my knees to match his height while Myung placed his arm around my shoulder as he huffed and pulled up his pants with the other hand. 

-"It's done." 

I opened my eyes as I heard his voice and stood straight, still holding his waist. Our gazes were locked on each other, and silence enveloped between us. 

As a tear dropped out of his eye, he raised his hand to wipe it, but I grabbed his wrist with my other hand in a split second. "Don't!..."

Myung frowned and stared at me with a puzzled face, then I added, "I told you not to hold back...".

"Let go of my hand!" He winced as he tried to pull his hand out of my grasp, but it was useless. 

I looked into his eyes firmly. "Let your tears be, then I'll."

"But~ My tears~ will suffocate me~... " Myung replied as he trembled slightly, and his tears rolled down uncontrollably...

I pulled him into my arms and patted his back gently. "If you allow it to come naturally and don't fight it back. I promise it won't suffocate... Even if that happens, I'm here to help you get it over with, right?" 

Myung flinched as he sobbed and shoved his head into my chest. After a few minutes of crying in that position, I asked, "May I know why you cried?" 

He took a few seconds to answer, still hiding his head in my embrace, "I miss someone~" 

...This 'someone' must be 'Haru' again...

+"What made you feel that way?"

-"H~ em~ they~ used to~ help me wear my clothes whenever I was too tired~..."

+"Your lover?" 

He nodded silently...

+"Do you wanna see them?"

Myung jolted back in shock and shook his head as he looked at me with his red and swollen eyes... 

I patted his shoulder and said, "It's fine. You don't have to if you're not willing to~..." 

Myung didn't respond to my words and stared blankly at the floor. He was immersed in his thoughts again. Should I say most likely his past?... 

I led him to sit at the edge of the bed and then sat down beside him. "How did you two break up?"

No response again...

He started humming a song, "hmmm~... hm..hm... hmmmm~... hm~hm~..." 

I wondered which song it was...

What kind of memories is he remembering now?...

It's definitely haunting him at the moment...

Just how great their love was that he became like this?...

Still, true love should make you feel better, not send you to the asylum...

I gritted my teeth out of frustration...

Why is this bothering me so much every time I think about it?!...

Myung cut off my thoughts and asked, "Have you ever danced to tango?"

I flinched and answered awkwardly, "Nope~... I don't think I'd be good at it, though~..."

He slipped out of the bed and stood in front of me as he tilted his head cutely, "Wanna dance with me?"...

I stared at him dazed, thinking his mood kept changing, which meant his brain reacted to his surroundings and emotions more than before...

However, Myung keeps choosing the weirdest ways to cope with them instead of showing his true feelings... 

And now, he's asking me to dance with him out of the blue...

Does he want to use me as a substitute to recreate a good memory?!...

As if he's trying to paint a picture of the past, but using a different set of colours...

So I refused, "No."

He wondered, "Why?"

"Just now you were thinking about something you'd done with your lover in the past, but since... that person... is not available... you wanna do it with me..." I explained as my head was down...

"Seo Dantae..." He called my name calmly, and I raised my head in response, looking at him.

"Choose one, me hurting myself right here right now or me dancing with you since I'm frustrated as hell. You can't be greedy expecting more..." He said as his eyes were lifeless again...

-"Threats won't work on me... I can simply put you back into that straitjacket, Myung." 

+"You can try to do that, but I won't talk to you ever again..." 

-"That's not the right way to deal with your hurtful past..." 

+"If you don't wanna do it, then get out..."

I stood up and grabbed his arm. "Myung, listen to me~... Let's talk abo~..." 

He covered his ears with his hands and shouted out loud, "AAAAAHHHHH~... GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE~..." 

Then he repeatedly slashed his fists against my chest, "WHAT DO YOU GUYS WANT FROM ME!!!... I'M TIRED OF THIS SHIT CALLED LIVING!!! I GOT YOU BACK TO YOUR JOB BUT YOU DON'T HELP ME AT ALL!"

As one of the nurses rushed into the room to check on us, I signaled her to get out before Myung noticed it. 

I wanted him to lash out his anger since he finally started to show himself to me. 

He continued to curse and yell at me until he ran out of energy and collapsed into my arms while I stood still quietly. 

I lifted Myung in a bridal style and put him on his bed, mumbling, "Huff~... His temper is indeed scary~ ..."

As I stayed in his room, sitting in that leather armchair and waiting for him to wake up again, I texted Dami to tell her that I wouldn't be home for a while. As a way of spending time, I read an e-book on my phone for a while...

I was pretty hungry after two hours sitting there, but I couldn't leave him alone...

After a groan, Myung finally awoke and opened his eyes... 

"Did you have a nice nap?" I asked teasingly.

He glared at me for a few seconds then turned his back on me.

I said as I walked to his bed, "Don't sulk~ I believe you hit me enough to feel satisfied with~ " 

Myung just let out a sigh and was still ignoring me...

"Wanna do something else instead of that? Like a game or something?" I asked.

"I'm not interested! Just let me be~ I don't have the energy to fight with you anymore~..." he whined.

"Fine. I guess you're not confident enough to win over me." I said and walked to the door.

He sat up and asked in disbelief, "What did you say?" 

I grinned and then turned back to look at him, "You heard me~" 

"I'm sure that I can beat an old geezer like you!" He scuffed.

A smirk formed in the corner of my lips...

......Gosh~ I knew I could use his stubbornness for my own goal~... 

-"Then we will see that tomorrow! I'll give you a day since your body is not in good condition right now. Eat a lot because I won't accept any excuses if you lose." I smirked.

He threw his pillow right into my face. "Don't make me laugh!"

"You Li...!" As I was about to scold him, I stopped myself from arguing with him. Reminding myself that I'm his doctor, not his friend or anything else...

He chuckled as my face became feisty from the hit, and I then said after a sigh, "I need to grab something to eat and bring back my stuff to my office from home. So let's call it a day now~ See you tomorrow~"

"That's nice since being with you gives me a headache~ " He answered teasingly and I left the room without saying more. 

I was relieved that he became calm again...

However, a thought came to my mind: "What would've happened if we had seen each other in a different situation?"

I'm pretty sure he was a fun guy to be around before the depression hit him like a truck...

I would like to be friends with him...

I've never really had one since my father died... 

Nevertheless, we should maintain our relationship as patient and doctor...

As I stepped into my apartment, I thought there was a robbery happened!... My whole house was upside down!... 

"SEO DAMIIIIIII!!!!!" I called my sister. She came out of the kitchen with chips between her lips and the bag in her arms. "Why are you screaming?!"

I grumbled, "What the hell is going on here?!"

She looked around puzzled and asked, "Aha~... You shocked because the house is a mess!... Haha~... Oppa, that's normal behaviour as a teenager~ You studied for years, but don't you know that?! Tch..." 

"I'm pretty sure no one could make this huge mess as you did, Dami!!!... I'm shocked because it looks like an earthquake hit it!" I groaned... 

-"Aaaaiiisshh~ Stop nagging~ you old geezer!" 

...I wonder why I keep getting dejavu!...

+"Clean it right now!!!" 

-"I'll tell mom you're jobless!!!" She snarled at me...

I crossed my arms and smirked, "Heh! I got my job back~... Now do the cleaning before I get angry!"

She threw the chips bag at me, "I don't wanna! I'm tired since I've danced the whole day!~~~"... 

...God!!!... I've had enough today!!!... 

A malicious thought rushed to my mind, and the corners of my lips turned upwards. "I couldn't kill Myung since he's a patient, but I can kill Dami! So why not?!..." 

I ran towards her, "Wait right there, you brat!!!... I'm giving you a huge lesson today!!!" 

Across the house, she screamed and ran away from me as I followed her.

After the sister VS brother battle was done, we both slumped down on the couch, barely breathing. 

Dami said, "Let's... (gasp)... clean~... (gasp)... together~..." 

I replied as I puffed, "Fine!... Damn~... I guess I really got old!~..."

Tomorrow morning, I took Dami to the company she was supposed to audition and then I drove to the hospital. 

I walked to my office excitedly since they'd given me the same room as before.

While I was placing my things around the room, Jeo Jenny stepped in, smiling from ear to ear, "Hiii~... Doctor Seo~~ I'm so happy you came back~~... I missed you~~"

I gave her a faint awkward smile, "Hi, Miss Jeo." 

She placed a cup of coffee on my table, "This is for you!"

"Thank you. That's kind of you, but please don't give me these things from now on. It'll cause misunderstandings for me and others." I replied.

She smiled and said, "But what if I say it's not just a misunderstanding~... I mean~... I have liked you since the first day I saw you here~... and when you left the hospital, I became completely sure~... I even kept begging my dad to bring you back!"

The only thing that I was thinking about at that time was, "The President's daughter likes me, and this sounds like trouble! Why would she like me anyway?!... Just let me do my job!!..."
