"Let go of me, you wiped-out goblin scum!" Arabella fought like never before in her life. She bit, she scratched, and she kicked at the goblin's hand that threatened to crush her. She felt the panic rising inside her. Not to give up! She had to make noise! Her roommate would save her! "Illegal hamster kidnapping!" , she shouted, her voice trembling with fear and anger at the same time. Her heart raced, and she tried to fill her small lungs with air as best she could, bracing herself against the pressure of the goblin's hand. The green guy laughed mischievously as he held Arabella down, enjoying her efforts to fight back. "Just scream my little snack, no one will hear you through the shielding spell." He chuckled in a shrill voice. Helplessly, she heard the store's doorbell. No, no! Not from the store! Longingly, she stared in the direction where her roommate had disappeared. It was too late, before she knew it they were in the middle of a busy street. She had to make a break for it, eh this creep, a chance she found than to eat his morsel for in between.
Her tiny eyes sparkled. She had an idea. May the gods wipe this moment from her memory forever! Arabella peed into the goblin's hand and for her life.
"Damn!" The creep loosened his grip in surprise at the warm "shiver". Not very but enough.
Her small body, well moistened, slipped through the goblin's fingers and landed on the floor with a soft plop. Arabella ran for all her hamster legs were worth. The cursing and roaring goblin behind her. She made sharp turns between the countless feet of passersby. Darting between everything she could find, hoping to get rid of him.
"Damn it! Come back here!" the goblin raged as it chased her. Her tiny legs literally flew across the ground, and she didn't dare look back. Finally! Just a few feet ahead was a tiny opening below a house wall. Her furry butt just managed to disappear into the mouse hole as the goblin's hand reached out for her. Panting, she wanted to take a break. But she had to keep going Arabella guessed it wasn't wise to linger long in a place the goblin knew about.
The air became stuffy in the dark corridors. Hopefully, she would not run into the inhabitants. Adrenaline and fear for her life drove her on. She knew she would find a way to the surface and a place to hide.
Suddenly, she caught sight of a tiny gap between two stones that looked like boulders in size. Without hesitation, she squeezed through, not knowing where this path would lead. But at the moment there was only one thought that dominated her little mind: escape, at any cost.
Marriage?! No way! Arabella wants more than to become some man's decorated accessory. On the way to her own wedding, the bride bails to finally be free. But there are moments in life when you should listen to your mother, for example, not to drink magic potions of unknown origin...
Well at least as a hamster I don't have to marry anyone anymore...There is only one problem why does this guy stuff me in his jacket pocket?!
