I PROMISE THAT NOT IN EVERY CHAPTER WILL BE NEW CHARACTER + LANGUAGE DROPPED OKAY?
Honestly, Ruzhena has pretty tight socialization and we just needed to go through it. I am so worried the story will get bored after those introductive chapters... Still I'll try my best to not disappoint you.
But variety of languages is important! In Mehrturmstadt retska considered as a dead language, no one speaks properly, however books written in retska still treasured in the Central Library and used by scholars.
No one knows, that some still could use it as fully-functional language as it does Ruzhena and the ancient creatures such as Hypnus. But beware, using retska by common folk considered a sign of witchcraft, and could be enough to claim someone is a witch!
Ruzhena is someone who tries her best not to stand out as much as possible, working in the deepest corners of the Library. However she ended up being entangled with a famous inquisitor.
Why did she chose to live in such a dangerous city, one that's swarmed with inquisition? Why does she so desperately want to become a human yet again?
