"Malevolence Unleashed: Rise of the Villain"

Chapter 7.1: The Escape Plan

Chapter 7.1: The Escape Plan

Jul 19, 2023

Du Yu, however, had many ideas brewing in his mind. In the blink of an eye, he had already glimpsed Tian Boguang's weakness—lust.

Who was Du Yu? He was an internet writer. Since his college days, his hands had been occupied with countless stories, and he possessed a particular fondness for the eclectic Chinese classics like Jin Ping Mei and Dengcao Monk. He possessed a remarkable ability to memorize and fluently recite them.

Du Yu cleared his throat and said, "Brother Tian, don't dismiss this idea too quickly. I have a proposition for you. How about we strike a deal? If you teach me the second level of [Walking Alone], I'll provide you with an array of stories, carefully chosen to cater to your taste."

Tian Boguang's face twisted with both desire and caution. He feared this foolish brother of his, who seemed destined to meet his end soon. He replied sternly, "Don't think I haven't seen through your intentions. I won't fall for your tricks again."

Du Yu, sporting a thick skin, had long been coveting this opportunity. Despite Tian Boguang's resistance, he continued to insist.

Evidently, the 20 favorability points gained through [Wolf Gu Xi Kuang] had been exhausted by Du Yu's exceptional storytelling talent. He needed to find an alternative approach to win Tian Boguang over.

Du Yu's mind whirled with possibilities, and in an instant, he had seized Tian Boguang's weakness—lust.

Tian Boguang felt a shiver down his spine, fearful of this foolish brother who seemed destined for his demise. "Don't even think about it," he declared firmly.

Yet, Du Yu, with a determined spirit and an unyielding resolve, couldn't resist his curiosity. He had been craving this opportunity for a long time. However, Tian Boguang adamantly refused to entertain the idea.

Nonetheless, Du Yu persisted, finding creative ways to appeal to Tian Boguang's desires. With a thick-skinned demeanor and an incessant plea, he aimed to chip away at Tian Boguang's resistance.

It appeared that the 20 favorability points granted by [Wolf Gu Xi Kuang] had been entirely depleted by Du Yu's extraordinary talent. He needed to find another way to win Tian Boguang over.

Du Yu, with his quick thinking, found an alternate approach. He couldn't give up on Tian Boguang's assistance just yet.

Finally, after much persuasion, Du Yu's tenacity paid off, and Tian Boguang relented. Reluctantly, he agreed to teach Du Yu the formula for the second level of [Walking Alone]. Whether Du Yu could successfully master it would depend on his own abilities.

Tian Boguang took Du Yu and swaggered into the Qunfang Courtyard, his presence commanding respect. Mistaking them for regular customers, the old bustard, Mr. Gui, and the courtesans rushed to flatter Tian Boguang. Being a wealthy patron, Tian Boguang spared no expense and invited several alluring and colorful prostitutes to join them, laughing and embracing them as they entered their room.

Du Yu felt awkward and out of place in such a setting. As a 21st-century otaku, he had never experienced such encounters and held no interest in the perfume-scented prostitutes who surrounded him. He quickly dealt with the situation and took Yilin to their room.

Yilin, fearing his malicious intentions, trembled with fear. Although Tian Boguang had promised not to touch her, Du Yu's intentions were unclear.

Unexpectedly, upon entering the room, Du Yu settled Yilin and immediately began contemplating the "Walking Alone for Thousands of Miles" technique. It wasn't that he was particularly fond of martial arts, but rather, he needed to alleviate the impending obliteration pressure, forcing himself to focus and practice diligently.

Yilin couldn't help but burst into laughter when she saw Du Yu's serious and concentrated expression. It was an amusing sight, witnessing this otaku diligently practicing martial arts.

In the Qunyu Courtyard, Tian Boguang finally felt relieved. With Yilin's captivating appearance, openly calling for her would only bring trouble and embarrassment to both herself and the Hengshan sect in such a disgraceful place. He activated Yilin's acupuncture points to maintain her silence, and Yilin's smile bloomed like a white flower, making Du Yu increasingly thirsty for more.

Breaking the silence, Du Yu asked cautiously, "Little master, is there anything wrong with the technique I'm practicing?"

Yilin, cautious yet sensing Du Yu's sincerity, replied with a slight curl of her lips, "Our Hengshan sect's martial arts are extensive and profound. If Tian Boguang were to encounter my master, my uncle, or my senior uncle—the three leaders of Hengshan—they could easily capture him."

Du Yu's interest was piqued, and he asked eagerly, "Little master, would you be willing to teach me martial arts?"

Yilin chuckled, "I wouldn't dare. Spreading the martial arts of the Hengshan School requires the permission of the sect's leader."

Du Yu sighed, realizing that learning martial arts from the Hengshan School would be impossible. Even if he possessed the best martial arts, it would be useless to him.

Yilin's dark eyes focused on Du Yu, curiosity evident in her gaze. "Why do you want to learn martial arts?"

Du Yu smiled wryly, "Someone has threatened to kill me if I can't reach the third level of a martial art within 30 days."

Yilin exclaimed in surprise, "My master would never force me to practice like that. It's cruel. We believe in gentle and compassionate training."

Du Yu nodded, acknowledging her words.

Yilin whispered softly, "If you release me, I can ask my master to see if he would teach you martial arts..."

Tian Boguang's boisterous laughter echoed from the next room, interrupting their conversation. "Little beauty, don't entertain such thoughts. Even if you were to outrun my 'Thousand-Mile Lone Stunt,' it would be useless."

Yilin's heart sank, feeling disheartened by the realization that Tian Boguang's martial arts were formidable, making escape seem impossible.

Du Yu, too, smiled wryly, knowing that Tian Boguang's hearing and lightness skills were exceptional. He would surely catch them if they attempted to flee.

Thinking on his feet, Du Yu grabbed pen and ink and began writing "Jin Ping Mei." Utilizing the technique of "omitting 500 words at this moment," he scribbled down the story. Although his handwriting was hurried and messy, it remained comprehensible under the wild strokes.

Curious, Yilin leaned in, her face reddening immediately as she read the words. She quickly recited the Amitabha Buddha's prayers, admonishing Du Yu, "You... writing such things, the Bodhisattva will punish

 you!"

Du Yu, not feeling guilty in the slightest, said with a mischievous smile, "Little master, I have an idea. Tian Boguang is a lustful person. If I can lure him in with stories from 'Jin Ping Mei' and other classics, I might be able to persuade him to teach me the martial arts I need."

Yilin's face flushed even deeper, unable to comprehend how Du Yu could suggest such an inappropriate plan. But she couldn't deny the potential effectiveness of Du Yu's idea. If she could distract Tian Boguang with stories, it might create an opportunity for Du Yu to learn the required martial arts.

Yilin hesitated for a moment before nodding reluctantly. "Alright, but only if you promise not to include any explicit or indecent content."

Du Yu grinned, pleased that Yilin had agreed to his plan. "I promise, little master. I will tell the stories tactfully, focusing on their literary and cultural value."

Thus, Du Yu began to tell Yilin the stories from "Jin Ping Mei," "Dengcao Monk," and other classics. He recounted them with a flourish, skillfully capturing the essence of each tale while avoiding explicit content.

Yilin, although initially hesitant, gradually became engrossed in the stories. Her face turned rosy, and her eyes sparkled with curiosity and excitement. As the stories unfolded, Yilin forgot her troubles for a while, finding solace and entertainment in Du Yu's narration.

Tian Boguang, in the adjacent room, grew increasingly restless. The sounds of laughter, sighs, and exclamations piqued his curiosity, and his mind wandered to the stories he had heard. Eventually, his desire got the better of him, and he barged into Du Yu and Yilin's room, demanding to know what was going on.

Caught off guard, Du Yu quickly put away his writings, but the room was filled with the lingering atmosphere of forbidden tales. Tian Boguang's eyes sparkled with a mixture of anticipation and impatience as he demanded, "Tell me! What were you two doing?"

Du Yu, feigning innocence, smiled slyly. "Brother Tian, we were merely discussing literature. I was telling little master Yilin stories from 'Jin Ping Mei' and other classics."

Tian Boguang's expression changed rapidly, and his curiosity turned into an intense desire for more. He demanded, "Tell me the stories! Don't leave out any details!"

Du Yu grinned inwardly, knowing that he had successfully piqued Tian Boguang's interest. He proceeded to recount the stories he had shared with Yilin, weaving vivid descriptions of the characters, their trials and tribulations, and the intricacies of their relationships.

As Du Yu continued, Tian Boguang's eyes widened, his desire growing with each passing word. He was completely enthralled by the stories, his imagination running wild.

With Tian Boguang engrossed in the tales, Du Yu saw an opportunity. He seized the moment and made his request, "Brother Tian, I have told you many captivating stories. Would you be willing to teach me the second level of [Walking Alone] as a reward?"

Tian Boguang's eyes flickered with a mix of desire and hesitation. He was tempted by Du Yu's offer but wary of being deceived.

Du Yu, sensing Tian Boguang's hesitation, quickly added, "Brother Tian, these stories are just a taste of the literary classics I possess. If you agree to teach me the second level of [Walking Alone], I will continue sharing these stories with you, guiding you through the captivating worlds of literature."

Tian Boguang's desire intensified as the allure of the stories overwhelmed his caution. He nodded reluctantly and agreed, "Alright, I'll teach you the second level of [Walking Alone]. But remember, if you try to deceive me, there will be severe consequences."

Du Yu was overjoyed. He had successfully convinced Tian Boguang and obtained the opportunity to learn the second level of [Walking Alone]. He knew that his plan was working, and he was one step closer to rescuing Yilin and escaping from Tian Boguang's clutches.

As the days passed, Du Yu diligently practiced the second level of [Walking Alone]. With Tian Boguang's guidance, he made significant progress, gradually mastering the techniques required. His agility and movement speed improved, allowing him to move with greater swiftness and grace.

Tian Boguang, witnessing Du Yu's progress, couldn't help but be impressed. He realized that Du Yu was not as foolish as he initially thought and possessed a natural talent for martial arts. Although he still had doubts about Du Yu's loyalty, he couldn't deny the progress he had made.

Du Yu's determination and persistence had paid off. He had successfully learned the second level of [Walking Alone] and felt a newfound confidence in his abilities.

With the second level of [Walking Alone] under his belt, Du Yu focused his attention on his next goal—to learn the third level of the technique. Time was running out, and he had to make the most of the remaining days.

However, his training was abruptly interrupted by Tian Boguang, who announced with a sneer, "Congratulations on reaching the second level, but I won't waste any more time on you. You're on your own now."

Du Yu's heart sank as he realized that Tian Boguang had no intention of teaching him the third level. He had to come up with a new plan to continue his training and rescue Yilin from Tian Boguang's clutches.

With determination in his eyes, Du Yu vowed to find a way to learn the third level of [Walking Alone] and save Yilin. He couldn't afford to give up now.
