After having my tail cut, I felt pain, it really hurts so much that it woke me up and made me realize that I wasn't dreaming this whole time. Even after running away, I still haven't calmed down. I went to the biggest tree that I saw, I rested there while calming myself down.

It took me 30 minutes to calmed down. Who would have thought that a caterpillar would attack me, a Lizard, the worms natural predator. Caterpillars are supposed to be Herbivore not Omnivore. And since when did caterpillars can spit out fire, I know that they produce silk, but not fire, IT MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE. I shouted in my thoughts. 

Oh, perhaps I got reincarnated as a lizard in the future where caterpillars already evolved and had a new defense system. And now they can eat meat, too. But still...

THAT DAMN CATERPILLAR ATE MY TAIL, MY LOVELY WHITE TAIL!!! I thought angrily as an imaginary vain pop out of my head. I then, bend my body side way to looked at my already gone tail, as my lime-green blood slowly dripping from my wound. I also have gotten used to the pain in my lower body, by now. But still, it pisses me off whenever I think about that damn caterpillar eating my tail.

I climbed, jumped and crawled around the big tree, I'm still analyzing my body, so that I can adapt myself as a full fledged lizard. I already accepted my new life a lizard about 30 minutes ago, when I'm still at my shocked state. As I keep crawling around I noticed something shiny at the tree root infront of me, well I was facing the big tree but I didn't notice it earlier because I was injured.

I crawled closer at the shiny thingy and what I saw was a color sky-blue diamond like stones, there were two of them laying on the ground near the tree root. However, I knew that it wasn't a real diamond, because there's no way I can get to see them naturally spawned at the Earth's surface. I moved my head closer the the pretty stones I found, I sniffed it up close,and it smells like an ordinary stone but, my instincts as a lizard are telling me to that I should eat it.

I opened my mouth and grab one stone using my sticky long tongue, normally I should be disgusted about what I am currently doing, I mean who wouldn't be grossed out if you lick a stone directly from the ground. But now I'm lizard, a creature who eats bugs. I chewed the stone in my mouth but surprisingly, it didn't taste anything other than an ordinary stone. However, It gives off a feeling of pleasure whenever I chewed on it. I kept on chewing on the stone until I accidentally gulp it down and went into my stomach.

I feel a little bit weird after I accidentally ate the stone, at the same time, I feel like the stone is becoming one with me. In other words, the stone became a part of me, as I feel like something grow inside me. After a while something pop out of nowhere.

What I saw was like a transparent hologram, it's like a video game status system, well, I'll just call is system. I've seen it before through computer and cellphone RPG games, but I never thought of seeing it in real life. After looking and reading the the system, what caught my attention was the racial skill {regeneration}, I've totally forgotten about the Lizards' regeneration ability.

Lizards are known for their remarkable ability to regenerate lost or damaged body parts, particularly their tails. When a lizard's tail is severed or autotomized, a process known as tail regeneration begins. In other words, my worries for earlier was overboard. But still, even if I got my new regrowth tail, it's still just a copy of my original tail.

I looked again at the system, and it shows a information about me...I think. Like name, race, HP, MP, AP, skills and resistance. I have no name, but  that's understandable since I Just got reincarnated, but why did I not see my mother and siblings at the moment I woke up. Well, let's put that aside for now. So I'm a gecko, huh. And as for the HP, MP and AP I still remember their meanings. HP is for Hit points, MP is for Magic points, and AP is for the Attack Power.

Skills are like an ability you can use to fight and , resistance is an ability to boost up  defence, well, it really depends on what kind of resistance a user had. Both of them can be learn  or by earning it through leveling up. I then, looked at a certain skill, the {Identification lvl1} I practice using it by identifying some random things.

I looked at the remaining stone and use {Identification} on it. And it shows another transparent hologram system that says...

After reading the system, I instantly knew that I got the {Identification} skill. I, then, eat the remaining stone, and I felt the same feeling I had earlier.

I was also wondering why I had poison, since lizards don't have any poison in them. But oh well, I had a feeling that it will be useful one day.

My thoughts were interrupted when a small ordinary green caterpillar whose about 1/3 of my size, or to put it simply, it's the same size as my lost tail. Even though it's not the same caterpillar who ate my precious tail, I still felt the anger boiling inside me. I let my anger and instinct took over my body, I jump over the caterpillar and pushed it's head to the ground. 

Then, I bite it's head while subconsciously using my {Poison} skill and that makes the caterpillar shakes it's body in agony. I put more strength on biting the caterpillar until it stops shaking. After that I got back my senses, I realized what I did then, check the caterpillar only to find out that its dead. I feel refreshed after killing that caterpillar, and suddenly I felt that I just had a little power up, so I checked out my stats.

And that's how I figured out a way to get stronger and take my revenge on that damn caterpillar.
