As per Queen Erica’s Intuition the investigation about SIM continues smoothly. Meanwhile King Frost departs for Cold Peak leaving Queen Erica in command. Aria and Sim have been training with swords for 3 days straight.

Training Grounds (Uninhabited Rocky Plains)

Aria has successfully trained Sim in hand-to-hand combat and Swordsmanship of Lincslet. It took 2 weeks for Sim to master combat and swordsmanship.

The Queen Erica arrives at the training grounds, Aria is in a happy and cheerful mood.

“It seems I have good news from you Aria” is what the Queen said.

“Welcome back my Queen, as my Queens Instructions, Survival Course is finished, Sim is now a complete Middle Class Personal” Aria with a happy face and cheerfully greets and replies to the Queen.

Sim looks at the Queen moves his head down and greats her. The Queen moves towards Sim and speaks “You sure have gotten a little strong, I can see that, your hard work has paid off”. Sim replies “It is all thanks to Queen Erica and Aria for giving me a chance, I am more confident in myself than ever, thank you Your Majesty”.

Queen Erica smirks and speaks “Physical enhancement, training, artifacts, tools, in simple no matter how much you are physically strong, if you cannot defend yourself from your opponent’s attacks your outcome will always be the same. This will be your final test, if you succeed. I will teach you how to channel and control your Raiki, if you have the talent to nurture it”.

Sim asks “Raiki is possessed my all the living, I am confident the I can succeed in Queen Erica’s test”.

The Queen replies “All the living possess Ki, Ki is the natural flow of life within body, the technique to bring your Ki out of your body and use it known as Raiki”.

Sim replies “The official records at The Library never mentioned anything about this Controlling the Raiki technique, it only mentioned that The Hero possessed a technique exclusive to him and only he can bestow it upon others, in other words Queen Erica knows the forbidden technique of the Hero”.

The Queen replies “Raiki is not a forbidden technique, everyone knows about that, it is not mentioned in records as it has been used even way before then the hero was summoned, but The Hero had the highest adaptability when it comes to Raiki, bringing Ki out is as simple as walking on a straight road but not everyone can reach home, this is why only a few have this technique, mostly heroes belong to the worlds without magic, they use only ki in their lives, that is why heroes have the highest chance of bringing Ki out.”

Deep in mind Sim frees himself from negative emotions and thoughts and takes a deep breath and replies “Queen Erica, I am ready for the test”.

The Queen orders “Aria, return to the training grounds and wait there if he succeeds, take care of matters related to Niea, we will not return for the time being, if he fails you know what to do.”

Aria replies “Yes, my Queen”.

After hearing the word fail Sim loses composure and his confidence breaks down. He looks towards Aria as she is going away.

Aria stops midway as she might have sensed something is wrong with Sim, she turns towards Sim teleports and leaps towards Sim and whispers in his ears.

Aria whispers “If you succeed in Raiki, as a reward I will give Y-o-U a K—I—S—S.”

Aria moves backwards smiles, giving Sim a sign as if she wanted to keep this a secret between them and leaves at Queen Erica’s Order. As a result, Sim blushes but he also regains his composure and confidence.

There are many ways to bring out Ki but they all take time; in case of Sim, he doesn’t have enough time.

When an individual is faced with a dangerous situation involving his life and experiences something life threatening because of magic the individual’s body as an instinct to protect itself from that situation brings out Ki and destroys the life-threatening magic. This is one way to bring out Ki but this method seems to only work with heroes as they use Ki in their daily lives.

Queen Erica starts the test

“The test is simple; I will crush you with magic until you manifest Raiki” is what the Queen said. Sim replied “So Raiki will automatically manifest when I get crushed with magic, it is a verified method, right?”.

Queen said “It has worked for a few, and this is the only method for you. No more talking get ready”.

Queen moves closest to Sim and says “Brace yourself, it will be stronger and more painful than Kings Presence”.

Queen Erica casts high level gravitational magic and slams Sim in the ground.

Sim “This is stronger…”.

Queen Erica “It is only at 5 percent; I will increase it by 1 percent every 5 min”.

Sim “Y-e-s, Qu Eric--a”.

Queen Erica “6 percent”.

Sim “I will not lose”.

Queen Erica “7 percent”.

Sim “Come one, come out.. Ki..yu”.

Queen Erica “8 percent”.

At 8 percent gravitational pressure Sim got a little blurry as the stronger pressure was affecting his vision.

Sim “I can keep up...”.

Queen Erica “10 percent”.

Sim loses vision at 10 percent, and his voice doesn’t come out. He is only able to hear and breathing becomes difficult.

Queen Erica “15 percent, what is boy... lost already”.

As Sim cannot speak, he clenches his fist tightly.

Queen Erica “20 percent”.

At 20 percent Sim get squished 2 feet under the ground. Sim loses conscious.

Queen Erica “Is this it boy, I can’t feel your response, have you accepted failure”.

Have I lost, yet again, I trained tirelessly but still, magic, magic, why is it always magic.

Just like before Sim gets triggered and channels the magic that was recovered to Miu, Aries and Aria. Aria feels the extensive pressure because Sim is currently trying to use all the magic in their body. Queen Erica finds out about this.

Queen Shouts “30 percent, just like before, will you use magic, because of your mistake, Miu and Aries are unconscious, Aria is barely awake, now this time around they will die, you should have listened to Miu and ran away because that was none of this mess would have happened”.

Was I wrong... any further and he will die, a human’s body can’t hold on for much longer. It means that I failed. It has been 15 mins already. I should stop.

Just as Queen Erica was about to release the gravitational spell, fortunately, Sim was able hear the Queen and recovered his conscious.

Sim tries and controls the magic flow coming from Miu, Aries and Aria. He tries to suppresses it. He struggles with it but his continuous struggling brings out Ki and suppresses his magic by nullifying it.

When Sim successfully nullifies the incoming magic the sudden pressure that Aria felt disappears. Unknowingly Queen Erica starts to release the spell and Sim uses Raiki and stands up Infront of the Queen astonishing her.

Sim speaks in stutters “I am a Man of my word” and he cancels out Queen Erica’s High level gravitational spell.

Raiki is categorized into 3 types. Raiki of Presence, Raiki of Time and Raiki of Control. They are further categorized according to their use. The hero of Malvest was a user of the Raiki of Presence and Raiki of time.
