Moo!
It’s interesting the changes I need to make between how I tel this story and how I draw it. When I get to the cows section of the story, I pantomime Jack milking cows and then tossing them aside to milk the next one. In that situation, it’s a funny visual and gets a chuckle. But when I came to draw it, it was too over the top. So instead I had Jack milking two cows at a time.
The last panel of the page was a late decision. I thought I’d show Jack walking home with a dripping purse, but I like the idea of the joke you don’t show, so I decided to have Farmer Wilson’s reaction and just the noises. Gave me a chance to figure out how to do a sound effect in Manga Studio.
