She was falling.
Not the best way for a main character to start a story – falling is more of a video game thing from what I can tell- but let's continue anyway.
She had been standing on the very top of a high-rise building when she slipped and fell- she seems to have accepted her fate and looks quite peaceful in her fall.
It reminds me of that painting by Frida Carlo, morbid but strangely beautiful.
But of course, it won't last for every main character has something that will prevent their death or downfall.
That’s the power of Plot armor!
Any second now something will happen that will save her from the fall and then our story can begin.
Any second now….
Uhh shes getting awfully close to the ground!
Now would be a good time!
Dam she dead!
Well, that isn’t the best how am I meant to write a story with no main character!
…...
I could turn it into a murder mystery!
No, that won't work theres nobody who could have pushed her.
Welp Im fired.
Boss said if I didn’t have a story by Friday id be put on my second strike and if he finds out that I stole the last story I gave in -Which he will- I'll be put on my third meaning im cut from the team.
Unless……...
I pass it of as one of those short stories.
I mean he never specified how long it had to be!
And he never checks it anyways.
