Ruve from the abandoned Empress is sympathized with and given another chance, Aristia has no sympathy for Jieun, who is just as much of a victim as her.
Mina from I am the Real One is given 30 lashes in both timelines for being mean, but the father who abused Keira is allowed sympathy.
In these stories, when a maid abuses a noblewoman she is immediately demeaned and called lowly. Her status is the worst insult, not the abuse itself. In Villainess wants a Divorce, the MC is more concerned about being bullied by “lowly/mere maids” than the abuse itself. She alliances herself with the empress who orchestrated the abuse in the first place.

Funny how according to this guy the reincarnators are there to uplift the country and make it the greatest nation—unless they don’t fulfill his vision for it, then they’re a pain that needs to be dealt with. Like those darn regressors.
I definitely distrust his assertion that Iseul can’t return home. I wonder if the key to getting home will require finding and connecting with Anette, sharing memories and character development maybe. Theoretically, Anette should be a connected, other self of Iseul, basing off how it is for Bridgette and Demeter. Alternative selves?
