It may seem like a tragic story to Lily, but the TRUE story behind Lily not getting her food is because…SHE NEEDED A DIET. Lily is a extremely fat dog (but cuddly) and for a beagle to be so fat is not good for her image or health. Our backyard is large enough for her to exercise, but she just lazily lay down in front of the warm summer rays (waiting for her food).
During Lily’s “whiny” days, I felt like my ears were going to explode, it was soooo annoying (a beagle’s bark is 10x more draggy than other dogs). I’m glad those days are over with!
