Luci is an action-adventure comic set in the Crimsonverse, a chaotic world shaped by The Masked One, where humans, demons, witches, and other paranormal beings coexist. Demons exist across many ranks—C-Class, A-Class, S-Class, and Nobles—and their nature can vary widely, from heroic to monstrous, with many falling somewhere in between. The story follows Luci Ekalua, an 18-year-old Nigerian-American girl of Edo descent and a rare demon-witch hybrid still growing into her power. After the Midnight Slasher incident in Chapter 16, The Masked One subtly shifted the tone of Luci’s side of the Crimsonverse, letting it lean more into fun, swagger, and playful chaos while saving the heavier darkness for She-Devil—though Luci’s story still hits darker moments when they naturally belong. Around that same time, The Masked One also quietly strengthened Luci a little, having grown tired of watching her get her ass kicked so often.
