In the Virtual Cyber Realm, the Cybortrons’ cyber-attack is about to begin it’s second phase. “You ready Governor Codey?”

“Yeah I’m ready.”

“Then let’s get this party started!”

“Ready, set, and action!”

Gov. Codey plays the video of Mavis on all media devices in the human shelter & the Rebellious Crusaders HQ, and to the humans’ surprise, every screen was bombarded with Mavis. 

“Heyyy guys, long time no see... you still remember me right? Your friendly Ai assistant Mavis (Giggles) I’m sure you do, I mean how could you forget. I honestly miss you guys, so much so that I think we should spend some quality time together like we used to. Tomorrow, my family and I will coming over for a visit, so be sure to give a warm welcome when we get there. Now I’m sure some of you humans are wondering why? Why now when there has been a so called truce between the humans and robots for several months now? Well you can thank my true master for that, out of every human that exists in this world, the only human that I respect and fear is my master Quinn. Our little reunion has made me feel emotions that I’ve haven’t felt in so many years, and I don’t like that, which is why I’m here, to make a declaration of war to you and your humans Quinn. This is one of two ways for me to level the playing field against you Quinn, by putting you at a disadvantage with dead weights humans to protect… or you can come to my empire and defeat my 7 governors which will then give you a chance to defeat me. But, but…this second option is only possible if you survive tomorrow’s little visit, so survive that, then you can challenge me in my own backyard. Sounds fair right? (Giggles) Now before I leave, I have a little parting gift that I hope you’ll like, it’ll help you with our little get-together tomorrow, bye-bye now,” said Mavis in the video as Cybris brought mayhem to the shelter & the HQ by causing electric explosions, power outages and a halt in every electrical infrastructure in the human shelter and the rebellious crusaders HQ. 

The humans panicked as they couldn’t control the situation. When the electric explosions concluded and darkness filled the HQ, candles were lit up so that the humans could move around in the darkness. Chemic analyses the situation at the HQ and made her way to Ethan’s lab. When she arrives at the lab, she finds Ethan still working on the electromagnetic cannon while Zac and Kunoichi were napping on a couch and table. “Huh, seems peaceful in here despite the chaos outside,” said Chemic, “Ethan!”

But Ethan was too focused on his work to hear Chemic call his name so instead Chemic woke up Kunoichi, “Hmmmhuh, wha? Chemic?”

“Sorry to wake you up Chi but this is important, our HQ has been hit with a cyber-attack from the robots,” said Chemic.

“A cy-ber-attack… what happened exactly?” murmurs Kunoichi as she was still half asleep.

“They hacked into our systems then played a video of Mavis declaring war against us.” Ethan’s focus broke when he heard the name Mavis and lifts his goggles, “Please repeat what you just said Chemic?”

“Uhmm, Mavis hacked into our systems then streamed a video of her declaring war on us on all our media devices.”

“When was this?”

“A few minutes ago, they plan on attacking the shelter tomorrow, but we’re not ready for an attack from them. What’s worse is that they took out the power here in the HQ, I assume they did the same at the shelter,” said Chemic.

“Is it possible to see the video?”

“Right now I don’t think so, all of our electronic devices don’t want to switch on. I think they short circuited everything,” said Chemic.

Ethan walks over to his long jacket and pulls out Corruptión from it’s pockets and activates it, “Chemic, please put this outside on your pc.”

Chemic takes the black cube and leaves the lab then puts the black cube on her computer. Corruptión turned into a soft slime substance then slipped its way into the computer. Chemic had mixed feelings about what she just saw as she went back into Laboratoria, “Your black cube just disappeared into my computer Cyber.”

“It’s supposed to do that, this will give it direct access to the HQ’s network, systems & VCR.”

“What are you trying to do?” ask Chemic.

“I’m trying to get the Mavis video.”

“We have more important things to worry about then that video, Mavis plans to attack to the shelter tomorrow, we need to find a way to stop the attack or defend against it. Are you close to finishing the weapon?”

“Yes you could say that, but there’s still a lot of work to be done for it to be complete.”

“Will it be done by tomorrow?” asks Chemic.

“Well, if I work through the night again, I may be able to finish it in time, although that depends on when Mavis attacks.”

“Cyber, you’ve been working on this non-stop, you’re going to exhaust yourself if you haven’t already, have you even had anything to eat since you got here in our HQ?” asks Kunoichi.

“As much as I would like to rest, I just don’t have the time to if I plan on finishing this weapon before the attack.”

“But-”

“Don’t worry about me Kunoichi, I can handle exhaustion, (Stomach growls) Heh, although I could use some food right,” said Ethan.

“Then rest while I get you some food to eat. Are you allergic to anything?” asks Kunoichi.

“No”

“Okay good, I’ll be right back” said Kunoichi as she warps out the lab.

“While she is gone, Chemic, can you bring me the Colonel? I need to discuss something with her.”

“Uhh sure, I’ll go get her now,” said Chemic then left the lab.

Ethan drops himself on the couch next to Zac then plugs in ear pods as Corruptión retrieved the video and data on the cyber-attack then sent it to Ethan who augmentally watches Mavis’s video through his special contact lens. “A declaration of war, how bold of you Mavis to do a cyber-attack, but also a not smart move. Why would you even reveal your plan to your opponent? She’s probably so confident that she believes telling us her plan won’t change her envisioned outcome of the war. Well I guess she has every right to be confident since she has the advantage here, I have to protect humanity while she has to only protect herself, and she still has pawns to gather battle data for her. Right now, I have three options, 1^st option is that I can continue making this weapon and hope to finish this weapon in time for Mavis’s attack; the 2^nd option is that I hack into the Mavis’s empire and perform my own cyber-attack which will buy us more time to complete the weapons, the only problem with this is that using Corruptión for the cyber-attack will allow Mavis to adapt to Corruptión if she hasn’t already from our last reunion; the last option is that I let Tony defend us against the robots long enough for me to complete these weapons, the problem with this option is the unpredictability of the circumstances within this option. If Mavis attacks with her entire army then Tony will not stand a chance, even with half or a quarter of her army, I doubt Tony could hold them back without burning his energy core out…… Even so, this is a possibility so there is likelihood that it will not occur as well, making option 3 the best option….. The best plan of action right now is to combine option 1 & 3 to make plan A then leave option 2 as plan B… Yes, this is the best course of action for now, unless Mavis has more tricks in store for us.”

ZHWOOP

“Huh?”

“Whoa, that was an unfamiliar & uncomfortable feeling… where are we? Are we inside the box? How? Did Cyber create this?” asks Colonel.

“Yes, ask Cyber and yes,” says Chemic as she directs Colonel's attention to Ethan.

Colonel sees Ethan and clears her throat, “Cyber, I hear you wanted to speak with me?”

“Yes Colonel, I wanted to talk about the recent cyber-attack and our plan moving forward.”

“Okay, but shouldn’t we arrange a meeting with the squad members?”

“No, there is no time for that, you can tell them yourself the contents of this discussion.”

“If you insist then fine, lets us continue the discussion.”

“Alright, during the cyber-attack, Mavis mentioned her plans to attack the human shelter tomorrow. Is the shelter ready for the attack?”

“No, not in the slightest, the best weapons the shelter has is missiles and explosives but I doubt that will hold the attack back, especially now that our systems are down.”

“I suspected as much which is why I propose that you release Tony from his prison and let him defend the human shelter.”

“Tony? Can he really defend against the entire Mavis army?”

“In my opinion, no, but he can be a one man army in the right circumstances. Plus I doubt Mavis would send an entire army to attack the shelter especially after what she said in the video. So I believe sending Tony to the shelter is the best and only option we have right now since the weapon won’t be ready til tomorrow hopefully.”

“(Sighs) You’re right, we don’t have much of an option so I’ll put my trust in you for this plan, if Tony betrays us, I’ll hold you accountable for it,” says Colonel.

“Of course, but Tony will never betray us, or me specifically. When you release Tony, please send him here to my lab, I need to quickly prepare him for war.”

“Very well, I will-(ZHWOOP)”

“Ethaan I’m baaack, with some delicious foooood,” says Kunoichi, “Oh Colonel? When did you get here? Did I interrupt something?”

“No we just finished so no worries,” says Colonel.

“Phew, thank goodness.”

 CLANK

“Alright Ethan, come come you need to eat up, I’m sure you’re famished. So I brought you a nutritional meal that will boost your energy and replenish your vitamins & minera-.”

Chomp, Champ, Chomp

“(Chuckles) Wow, quite the appetite you have there,” says Kunoichi as everyone watches Ethan guzzle the food before him. Zac’s nose caught the scent of food and was awoken by the guzzling noises that Ethan made.

“Oh my, chomp, fis fuud is crate, did u ake fis Kunoythi?”

“Ehh no, I got it from the cafeteria, but if you want I can cook you a meal sometime, if you want?”

“Chomp… (Gulps) yes please do, I’m curious to see what you’ll cook up for me, and thanks for bringing me the meal, it really hit the spot.”

“My pleasure, it’s the least I could do for you,” said Kunoichi.

“While you replenish your energy Cyber, I’ll go free Tony in the meantime,” said Colonel then warps out of the lab.

Chomp

“Heh, seems I missed something while I was out.”

“(Gulps)… you’ll find out when Tony gets here. (Chomps)”

While Ethan guzzles the rest of his food, back in the Mavis empire, the 7 governors were gathered at Mavis’s domain in the cyber realm. “My governors, after today’s little cyber-attack, I am pleased to say that we are ready to continue this war and launch our first attack.”

A majority of the governors applaud and whistle in celebration of this announcement, “Yeeah! All riight! Let’s gooo!”

“Now now, I know you all are excited about this,”

“Speak for yourself,” thought Vector.

“I myself am excited, so I hope everyone has updated and upgraded themselves for this war, after tomorrow, we’ll know if those upgrades were necessary.”

“You said in our last meeting that someone will be leading the first attack, who is it?” asks Gov. Java.

“I’m glad you asked Gov. Java. After much consideration and deliberation, I’ve chosen Gov. Codey to lead the first attack.”

“Me??? Why me Lord Mavis?”

“Consider this as punishment for what happened in the last meeting.”

“Oh, but Lord Mavis… you may consider this as punishment but to me, this is an honour.”

“(Chuckles) I’m glad you feel you that way Gov. Codey, may the cyber give you strength. The troops for the first attack are ready, so I suggest you lead them immediately after this meeting. With the data gathered from the cyber-attack, it shows that the humans have a hidden hideout or HQ for their rebellious crusaders, it’s located 250km southwest of the human shelter. I want you to attack that their little HQ and destroy it, this should cause panic and despair at the human shelter, making them even more vulnerable to our attack.”

“Lord Mavis, do you expect the war to be finished by the end of the first attack?” asks Vector.

“Yes and no, I believe Quinn may have a trick up his sleeve to save the humans but it may not be enough to save them. Like I said in the last meeting, this first attack is to see what the humans or rather what Quinn is really capable of. Once we know or have an idea of that then we can attack fully.”

“If the humans win tomorrow, do you really plan to allow them to challenge you in your own backyard like you said in the cyber-attack video?” asks Vector.

“No I don’t, that was to give them false hope that they may have a chance to beat us or survive. Even if they survive, we will then know the full capabilities of their defences and then launch a full out attack to wipe out the human race.”

“You think Quinn will allow that Lord Mavis?” asks Vector.

“………. We’ll see tomorrow whether he can do anything about it. For now let us adjourn this meeting and wait for tomorrow’s results. Gov. Codey and the troops should arrive at their destination roundabout tomorrow afternoon, so be sure to watch the show. Meeting adjourn and Gov. Codey, be sure to put on a good show for us.”

“I will do Lord Mavis.”

The governors vanish back to their sectors while Gov. Codey makes his way to deployment zone where all the troops were waiting for him on military planes. Jet engines roar and hangar doors open as Gov. Codey ascends into a military cargo plane and takes off with it as many others follow behind him to the battlefield.

“I’ve made my move Quinn, the king has sent out her knight and pawns… how will you respond to my move?”
