I had quite a lot of money, even though this was nothing compared to how much I got after being recognize by Rottweiler-Comics. We were beating other sites, including our rival: Dragon fang comics. We had gotten many more readers and was even noticed by other entertainment medias, our pay was doubled too and soon; arguments eased up too.. the amount of money people got was more than enough to make them forget their problems. (Most were something you could easily fix, if you stop screaming madly and think about it) it got much better that next year: we moved into a new building, but despite it having better work conditions: Rottweiler comics still cut many corners ……though it wasn't a real problem. I was extremely private anyway, so: moving into a new, bigger and darker building, having no real contact except payments and the creepy and flat way Chet would talk to everybody was nothing to me. So personally everything was good news for me.
We moved around the holidays and was in a new office building around New years. I saw a couple more workers waiting for us too: all were lawyers, executives and a producer. Chet was now one of the executives which I wondered aloud about, to which he whispered "Someone kicked the bucket.". It was a reminder of how shady the company was, yet I was happy there as I didn't have expectations and intense needs at the moment. I lived in that foyer; learned the new area we moved in and was quite happy…. I didn't realize it at that moment though…
