Attorney Kim Mooil usually only takes simple copyright cases to keep his practice afloat, so when his landlord comes to him and confesses to killing one of his tenants, Mooil thinks it’ll be an open-and-shut case. But the day before they're to go to the police, his landlord seemingly takes his own life. As Mooil and his team of sleuths try to solve this mystery, he learns the incident may be linked to a police cover-up, revenge porn, and a murder from seven years ago. So much for open-and-shut!
