Windows and fancy drapery lined the halls of the manor, adding to the intimidating yet strangely romantic feng shui. The girls fawned over all the lovely décor. Plants and sofas, all with giddy rich people talking and drinking. "This, my ladies, is the biggest manor in all of France! Welcome to Bernard Manor.". Just as the girls walked into the large ballroom, a butler came to them. "Good day, ladies. May I see your IDs?", the butler said. The girls nodded as they showed him their IDs. "Merci, ladies. Enjoy the festivities!", he said before walking away. "Merci!", they said as the butler left. Eventually, the girls got into a small corner of the ballroom before grabbing a glass of champagne. "Ok, guys. We need to find Mr. Bernard. Rose, Emily, you two group together. Keiko, come with me!", Indigo whispered to the girls. Rose walked off with Emily, asking a question. "So, your code name is Princess?". Emily took a second to respond, before turning to her. "Huh? Oh... Yeah. What are the rest of you girls' code names?". Rose smiled. "Mine is Belle, Keiko's is Psycho, and Indigo's is... Well, Indigo.". "I knew that part, Rose.", Emily giggled. Rose snickered before asking "So, are you into Indie?". Emily nearly choked on her champagne because of her question, and she turned back to glare at Rose. "I mean, I... Maybe? I remember having a crush on her when we trained. But not like a... Real crush.", she mumbled, trying her best not to stutter. Rose raised her eyebrow, asking "Sorry, real crush? So you have a fake crush?". Emily sighed, responding "I mean... I admired her and kinda thought she was hot. But I didn't wanna marry or date her.". Rose giggled, saying back to her "So, you thought she was hot, get in line! All of us think Indie's hot. Tell you what, try to kiss her if you guys ever get in a super up-close and personal situation.".
Emily gasped at her proposal and lightly punched her shoulder. "No! I'm not going to kiss her, she'd punch me!". Rose shrugged, saying "It's your funeral. Don't come to me crying if she gets married and you never see her again, though.". Keiko and Indigo scouted around before eventually finding Mr. Bernard. "Aww, he's sexy! I almost feel bad kil-", Keiko was about to say before Indigo covered her mouth. "Kiki, are you insane?", she asked, to which Keiko nodded. "Uh, yeah? It's why I'm with Grey Bones in the first place. Now, let's go seduce that guy.". "Bonjour, ladies.", they heard behind him. Suddenly, Mr. Bernard was behind them, his handsome face near theirs. "Bonjour, Mr. Bernard!", the girls said with their cat-like, seductive charm. "Ah, so handsome!", Indigo giggled. Mr. Bernard smirked, saying "Please, ladies. Call me Louis. Only my business partners and house-workers call me Mr. Bernard.". The girls giggled before clinking their glasses and taking a sip. "So Louis, are you looking to get a girlfriend sometime soon?", Keiko asked. He shrugged, saying "I don't know. I haven't found the right woman yet.". Indigo inched closer to him, asking "Well, what about me? Do I look like the right woman, at least for now?". Louis smirked responding "I can't say much on your part, Miss...?". Indigo smiled, saying back her name. "Ivy Hanzai.". "Miss Hanzai... What a lovely name.", he responded while kissing her hand. Indigo blushed as she bit her lip. "Forward for someone not looking for a lover.", she muttered. To this, Louis chuckled. "I wouldn't call it forward, Miss Hanzai. I'd call it the bare minimum for a lady as lovely as you.". Keiko turned to leave, saying "I'm going to the ladies' room.". She winked at Indigo before she left, and Indigo winked back. Louis raised his eyebrow at Indigo, asking "What was that all about?". Indigo laughed, before turning back to him.
"Oh, don't worry about my sister! She's just being silly.". Louis nodded and smirked, responding "Ah, I see. You are both equally charming, Miss Hanzai.". Indigo set her drink down before saying back to him "Call me Ivy.". He nodded. "Ivy... I see. Now that we know each other's names, shall we dance?", he asked. She nodded as they headed into the crowded center of the dance floor. Indigo was quickly amazed by his ability to sway with the rhythm of the music, effortlessly and beautifully. "You dance like a professional, Louis.", she sighed. He laughed. "I did ballet when I was ten. I'm glad to see it paid off.". Soon the two of them were dancing the night away until a slow song came on and they decided to just calm down, and sway instead of dancing as intensely as the previous song allowed them to. "About you asking if you were the one... You're a lady. I said I needed a woman.", Louis teasingly mumbled to Indigo. She seductively smirked, responding "I could be a woman if I needed to, Mr. Bernard.".
