Short update! partially to say that the transition back into university has not been smooth and my courses this semester require much more time than anticipated. some more slim updates are potentially on the horizon for the next month and a half or so, but this story will ultimately continue even if it's at a slower pace than I want right now

Together they find a lot of really cool stuff, but find it easy to compare their self-worth with the numerous valuable artifacts in the family vaults. After all, how can one run-of-the-mill human child compare to the weapons of mass destruction, piles upon piles of gold, and stacks of ancient knowledge that sit in their own pantry?
