She can hear them. The screams of agony and hatred.

They fill the air just like smoke and fire...

There is no way to see further than a few steps, but she sees more than she should...

Pain... Suffering... Blood... Death...

“Cordelia!!!” a voice calls her name, but her mind is hazy.

She can sense the person screaming and yanking her arm... at the same time, it also feels like she is blind and deaf.

It’s like she’s frozen in place for the longest time... until... suddenly, it’s all gone.

The screaming... the people... the hand pulling her arm...

And that’s when she really starts to panic.

“M-Mom...?” she calls out weakly. But no answer comes.

And she starts to tremble and cry due to the sudden emptiness.

Then pain shoots through her body suddenly, making her scream.

It becomes harder and harder to breathe... and as she looks down, she notices that her arms and legs have started to become black.

“N-n-no... No! NOOO!!!”

And just like that, Cordelia awakens in tears.

She’s gasping for air as she slowly sits up. Her eyes are wide and her body is trembling.

Then she flinches and looks around worriedly. Fortunately, none of her roommates have woken up. Even Selene is sleeping soundly in the bed right next to hers.

“Sigh... Stupid nightmares.” Cordelia lets out a shaky breath as she slowly stands up.

Then she carefully navigates out of the room where half of the witches sleep.

“I will take a walk. I don’t think I can go back to sleep...”
