Bison Relocation

The Wooly Mammoth has been extinct for 10,000 years and counting. To replace them in the ecosystem, Russia is importing twelve plains bison from a nursery in Norway to fill the Ingilor Nature Park in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug region of Russia.
The average temperature of Norway in the summer is around 15 degrees celsius, and around 2 degrees celsius in the winter.
The average temperature of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Region is around 30 degrees celsius in the summer, and will drop to around -55 degrees celsius in the winter.
That works out to be a +15 degree celsius change in the summer, and a -53 degree celsius change in the winter.Maybe they’ll be suitable, but maybe they’ll hate it, who knows?
