The Pragat family are delighted by this news.

Sardhana is speaking with the red-and-white armoured man.

Sardhana - "That is what a real warrior does! This is much better. With his arm gone, he will be useless to Vikara. A hundred gold says he will chop off Karni's head or abandon him in the woods. But really, what a great news!"

The armoured man - "A great news indeed. Irdan Khasim deserves to claim the twenty thousand bounty."

Sardhana - "No need to worry. I'll ask my men in the ministry to declare Karni a dead man. Irdan will be credited for his efforts. He will receive his purse of gold and my gratitude for taking care of the bastard."

The armoured man and Sardhana laugh and have their liquor.

Over at the Vyasa estate, things look gloomy. Rashva has a smile on his face. The smile is his way of taunting a reaction from Vikara. Vikara is pretty mad about the recent events. Varaha looks to be upset as well. Vikara's blood is boiling with the pangs of unsatiable anger. He walks out to the vineyard to cool himself down.

Irdan is greeted by Zerdan in the camp.

Zerdan - "You are the true warrior! I was wrong to ever doubt you. You have made all the Khasis proud!"

Irdan smiles and gives him a nod.

There is a huge celebration taking place inside the Khasi village.

They are dancing, laughing and drinking around a massive campfire.

The red and white armoured man stands up. 

He looks at Sardhana and with a bolt of confidence speaks - "I'll be joining this year's arena fight. We'll face the Vyasas. Let's see what they're made of."

Sardhana - "You fool! Your drunk. The armour you wear won't protect you in an arena. Stop talking like we have a chance inside an animal cage! I would never want to be anywhere near those monsters!"

The armoured man - "I was in the army. A royal guard like me entering the arena...just a child's play."

Sardhana - "Sure...but have you been in a war?"

The armoured man - "No. I was a royal guard. We do not need to go to war. We protect the king. I believe I could fight better than some farmer peasants."

Sardhana - "I must say, no matter how much more of that liquor I drink, I am not of that opinion. A royal guard is never going to compare to an arena fighter. This land has seen warriors who have fought and won wars for the King. You won't stand a chance in the arena."

The armoured man - "We'll only know when I fight."

Sardhana - "True."

Giridhana enters the room.

Giridhana - "Rashva wants us to proceed with the marriage."

Sardhana laughs - "Rashva?! I thought we were looking for a groom somewhere from outside their region."

Giridhana - "Rashva informed Irdan about Karni's movements."

Sardhana - "Then he has my thanks, but we're still not proceeding with the marriage. Rashva's son tried to protect that low-born scum. It's not Rashva who happens to be the groom, it is Vikara. I won't let that happen."

Giridhana retreats from his attempts of trying to persuade his brother.

Sardhana smiles and takes another sip from his mug.
