Disclaimer: I understand that following your passion, especially in arts, is a privilege, unfortunately not everyone can do that and we will loose great creative minds to it.
It can be an elitist place, it can be expensive and instable, but the big majority of artist don't want that, we want art to be accessible. We are on the same side, the people who are fighting artists just chose the easy one to fight
