The armoured knight opens his eyes. He sees that his arms have been tied up. In front of him is a large banyan tree. Bodies are hanging off the tree branches. A rope has been tied around his neck.
Vikara is walking back and forth. The knight is tied to a wooden block.
The two masked mercenaries are sitting on the branches.
Vikara - "You are awake. Finally. So you are the caretaker of the Pragat family. Mmm...you must be aware of the recent events which led to the loss of our caretaker."
Yarkath - "Kill me already. Why waste your time talking to me?"
Vikara - "We will. If you haven't noticed the tree behind me...you'll hang like the rest."
Yarkath - "Do it then. What's stopping you?"
Vikara - "I wanted to ask you about the Arasha. Where is she right now?"
Yarkath - "Kill me."
Vikara - "You'll die. But before that I want you to save your family. Tell me where she is or...I take out the entire Pragat dynasty, and diminish them to dust."
Yarkath - "You wouldn't dare!"
Vikara - "Well I am tempted."
Yarkath - "You are a glorified landlord. Pragat family shares lineage with the greatest of warriors. You're not capable of even touching our family."
Vikara touches Yarkath on his forehead.
Vikara - "I can do more than just touch."
Yarkath looks helpless but puts on the courage he can.
He looks right into Vikara's eyes and says - "Kill me and you can see for yourself."
Vikara signals with his arm to the mercenaries. They both pull the rope attached to his neck.
Yarkath is hanged. He squirms and twitches throughout until his body gives in.
Vikara and the two mercenaries stare at the hanged bodies.
Vikara - "Some men die for their pride. But death... it's nothing but an empty void." Vikara walks away from the tree.
The mercenaries saddle up their horses.
Varaha is with Rashva inside the estate. They both are sitting in the main hall.
Rashva - "The King being assassinated shocks me. I never knew our enemies could be this bold."
Varaha is concerned - "I want to know what brother is up to. He has been away mostly."
Rashva dismisses him immediately - "He'll take care of himself. What worries me is the relationship between us and the Pragat family. Vikara needs to enter into matrimony with Giridhana's daughter. Only then can we ask for a favour from them."
Varaha looks dumbfounded - "Are you supporting this marriage to ask a favour from their family?"
Rashva - "A favour is done for a friend or a family. My friendship with Giridhana is in appearance alone. But if Vikara marries their daughter, then I'll be family. We can ask them a favour and they'll have to fulfil it. Dowry is too old-fashioned."
Varaha - "What is the favour you wish to ask?"
Rashva - "I want Vikara to be a part of the ministry."
Varaha - "Ministry? How will they do that?"
Rashva - "Pragat knows a great many members inside the Ministry. If Vikara gets a position in the administration of the realm, imagine the status of the Vyasa family. We will all become real aristocrats."
Varaha - "This sounds wrong. I..."
Rashva - "Sending you away for education was a mistake. You've forgotten where you came from. We lack influence. For your brother to go around killing everyone and not get prison time requires influence."
Varaha stays silent.
Rashva - "We need this marriage. No matter what happens."
Varaha glances at his father's eyes. He sees the lust for power.
Giridhana sees some sort of disturbance outside his manor. The guards seem to be rushing to the gates.
Giridhana is concerned. A few men barge in with spears in hand.
Sardhana cannot believe his eyes. There are at least 20 men in the courtyard. They are demolishing everything in sight. Sardhana is knocked out by one of the men. Giridhana rushes below the stairs but the men take him hostage.
Vikara has the perfect chance to take revenge. With the recent events, the law protecting guards are busy elsewhere. With the military taking over the rule, Urvarakshetra's security has been compromised. The rivalry heads into new directions.
In the realm of Sagarkaar, a prestigious tournament named Ananta Shatam (Infinity Arena) is held, drawing warriors from diverse lands. Amidst the grand spectacle, tensions rise as a new conflict brews over the fertile farming land of Urvarakshetra. As the competition unfolds, alliances form and rivalries ignite, intertwining the fates of participants. As the battles on and off the arena intensify, the warriors must navigate personal desires, loyalties, and the looming threat to Urvarakshetra's peace. The fate of Sagarkaar hangs in the balance as the tournament reveals the true depths of manipulation, gluteny and malice of the people. Will they be capable of overcoming these adversities?
