The arena is now 92 days away. With around three months to go, the arena attracts new participants.
The Agori warriors have arrived in Urvarakshetra. They make the journey every year from the northernmost parts of Sagarkaar to face off against powerful warriors in the arena.
One among the participants seems a bit out of place. He is a fair prince with blonde hair. Unlike other men of this land who have darker black hair, this man stands out from them all.
The Ivoras have also arrived to start their training before the tournament.
The arena Ananta Shatam is located at the core of Madhyama Urvarakshetra. The arena is symbolically placed at the centre of the farmlands of Urvarakshetra.
There exists a ceremony for the announcement of the arena fights to be conducted officially.
The main three judges for the fight are warriors who all share a legendary status.
The First Judge will be the legendary assassin The "Corpse Dancer" Dalvina Abenaki, a female warrior who in her prime had the longest victory streak of 18 wins and 0 losses. She hails from the western provinces of Sagarkaar. The Abenaki clan are powerful warriors who've served the army for over 100 years. Her nickname fell due to her style of fighting that replicates a dance. Her record rests at 24-3.
The Second Judge will be The "Mighty" Roharsha Astami. He hailed from the northernmost provinces of Sagarkaar - Himasthal. He was the greatest army commander to have ever lived. Under him, the army was able to defend against the most number of invasion attempts. He is a better fighter than a commander. He uses his brute strength to wield a giant mace, which he uses to bludgeon his opponents. His record is 20 wins and 2 losses.
The Third Judge will be The "Sage" Arahant Bodhisattva. Not much is known about him. People think of him as a monk who roams around the world spreading his wisdom. He wields a mysterious staff as the choice of weapon. His record is 16 wins and 0 losses. He stopped fighting because no one could defeat him.
All the clans of Sagarkaar have found a way to settle their differences through true combat. The blood spilt in the arena has settled numerous disputes in the past. For the spectators, the experience of the arena is like no other. It is a festival showcasing the pride withheld by the people of Sagarkaar, that none could dare to face the warriors of this land.
The announcement ceremony begins in two weeks. Much of Sagarkaar's citizens are currently under political pressure. The King has died and no one knows who committed the act of regicide. With many questions unanswered, the arena is headed for its ceremonious inception.
Arena Fights are three months away. The training has begun for many of the participants who will be fighting in the arena. The death of a King is bound to have an impact on this year's tournament.
